Henry seems to get a lot of reviews complaining about his service, calling him aggressive or rude. This is simply not the case- it is a difference in culture and dialect that is misinterpreted. Henry know every regular he has and treats them like friends! If you expect someone to wait on you hand and foot... this is not the spot. If you want high quality, well priced, sushi then Little Tokyo is the place to go.“

“I am always suspicious of places that don’t focus on one cuisine but we have ordered twice now from Yuki Kitchen and have been impressed by the authenticity of the menu. We ordered Simmered Shitake mushrooms, Lucky Pink Radish, and smashed spicy cucumbers and all were amazing. We also ordered Yaya Balls which are deep fried octopus. My son had them in Japan on a visit a few weeks ago and said they tasted just as good. He was also excited to see a brand of iced tea he had in Japan. Yuki Kitchen is a tiny but mighty source for authentic Asian food. Don’t drive by it….“

“I've been here at least 10 times. Absolutely DELICIOUS, always fresh, incredible portions, so reasonably priced, and undoubtedly the best poke bowl you'll get within many many tens of miles.

It's a hidden gem, small corner place you'll likely miss many times during your trips to Trader Joe's, but it's my favorite restaurant in Stamford. It's family owned and you'll see the brilliant kids helping their parents in the front register on occasion.

Also, they deliver in house, so you dont need to overpay with Grubhub, etc.

“After a morning workout, I had a craving for sushi (what else is new) so after some research, my husband and I decided to try out Sushi x2 based off the good reviews. We got there pretty much right after they opened at 12, so it wasn't very busy at all with just one other table of diners. The interior of the restaurant wasn't particularly fancy or anything, and a bit dark for my liking, but that didn't really bother us. After reviewing the menu, we ended up ordering the yellowtail maki, and the dynamite and tiger rolls from their Special Rolls menu. The food was delicious! The tiger roll (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and avocado wrapped in soybean paper) was probably my fave, followed by the dynamite roll (pepper salmon, avocado, and spicy white tuna) and the yellowtail maki last. It was a great spot for a simple sushi lunch and we left both full and satisfied. I definitely want to try out some other sushi spots in the area, but if you're looking for a quick and yummy sushi spot in Stamford, give Sushi x2 a try!“

“I have been coming here for 10 years or so and the service is always great. The food is always delicious no matter what we get. I have dined and I have ordered for pick up, the food is always fresh and never disappoints. The lunch specials menu offers great deals for lunch Monday to Saturday. The waitress always gives us great attention. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield County. You won’t get better sushi, hibachi, or service anywhere else!“

“Kazu is the place to go for Sushi and Japanese cuisine in the Norwalk area. The fish is high quality and the staff and sushi chefs are top notch. The staff is super friendly and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Don't overlook the bar either! It doesn't matter if you're looking for lunch or dinner or just a quick snack and a drink they've got you covered. Rob and his staff are awesome.“

“I finally got to try this restaurant after the shut down of Ichiban and I was not disappointed, the chicken teriyaki has a more soy taste to it than sweet which I didn’t mind from Ichiban. The chicken teriyaki was delicious but the only critic I have is, for the extra portions of meat or shrimp plating it better in the tray because the sauce was dripped all over the place. Other than the plating critic, that’s all I have to say, good job and Welcome!

“Amazing food! Among all the takeout options in Stamford, Kampei stands out as one of the best, if not the best. I can't pick just one favorite dish because everything is consistently delicious, but I particularly love their Japanese bento boxes, sushi bar offerings, chow fun, and shredded duck. Whether you choose takeout or dine-in, the atmosphere and service are both excellent. Highly recommended!“
