“After a morning workout, I had a craving for sushi (what else is new) so after some research, my husband and I decided to try out Sushi x2 based off the good reviews. We got there pretty much right after they opened at 12, so it wasn't very busy at all with just one other table of diners. The interior of the restaurant wasn't particularly fancy or anything, and a bit dark for my liking, but that didn't really bother us. After reviewing the menu, we ended up ordering the yellowtail maki, and the dynamite and tiger rolls from their Special Rolls menu. The food was delicious! The tiger roll (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and avocado wrapped in soybean paper) was probably my fave, followed by the dynamite roll (pepper salmon, avocado, and spicy white tuna) and the yellowtail maki last. It was a great spot for a simple sushi lunch and we left both full and satisfied. I definitely want to try out some other sushi spots in the area, but if you're looking for a quick and yummy sushi spot in Stamford, give Sushi x2 a try!“

“Kazu is the place to go for Sushi and Japanese cuisine in the Norwalk area. The fish is high quality and the staff and sushi chefs are top notch. The staff is super friendly and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Don't overlook the bar either! It doesn't matter if you're looking for lunch or dinner or just a quick snack and a drink they've got you covered. Rob and his staff are awesome.“

“Our family has been a patron of Gogi Korean Steakhouse (formerly Wafu) since inception in 2019. We have dined there at least 25 times in the period 2019-2023. (Wafu/Westport opened in 2019 and was owned by the 4 founders of "Tuck Gin" + Simon & Elaine Chen of Westport. The quality of food went down during Covid. In 2022, Wafu/Westport closed temporarily. The restaurant was re-opened later in 2022, this time with Simon & Elaine Chen as owners and managers. Oh, what a difference the change in ownership brought about!) GOGI LOREAN STEAKHOUSE IS SIMPLY WONDERFUL! Simon & Elaine refined the menu, keeping what were originally the best selections and making them even better. Our family favorites (which we order almost every visit, while trying other dishes for comparison) include: * Seafood Pancake (crispy to perfection and stuffed with a variety of seafoods) * Bulgogi (entree sauteed to tender perfection at the table - ask for marinated) * Pork Belly (a close second favorite entree, prepared same as the Bulgogi) Simon personally visits and/or serves each table, making sure everything meets the customers' expectations. “I have been coming here for 10 years or so and the service is always great. The food is always delicious no matter what we get. I have dined and I have ordered for pick up, the food is always fresh and never disappoints. The lunch specials menu offers great deals for lunch Monday to Saturday. The waitress always gives us great attention. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield County. You won’t get better sushi, hibachi, or service anywhere else!“

“The food is wonderful , the atmosphere is great and cozy ! BUT the service sucks! We were there 10 minutes and I had to go to the bar just to get a couple of glasses of water . Otherwise once they saw that we finally got service and the rest of the meal was good. And no it wasn’t packed only 3 other tables with people when we were there .“

I got a poke bowl with 1/2 white rice and 1/2 brown rice- spicy salmon and tuna and everything else that looked tasty to me. Yum, yum!! So fresh, tasty, and delicious. I really enjoyed. The staff was friendly and attentive. Their lil dining room was very clean. I also got their coconut milk pudding with mango for dessert- yum!! “Asiana Bistro offers pretty solid Chinese takeout for the Stamford area. The food is consistently tasty, with generous portions and a variety of options. The dishes are flavorful, and the classic favorites like General Tso’s chicken and beef with broccoli are always well-prepared. While it’s not the most extravagant, it’s reliable and a great go-to when you’re craving comfort food. Quick service and reasonable prices make it a solid choice for takeout.

Vegetarian options: Options are available but not my personal preference so I’m no expert in that area.

“Amazing food! Among all the takeout options in Stamford, Kampei stands out as one of the best, if not the best. I can't pick just one favorite dish because everything is consistently delicious, but I particularly love their Japanese bento boxes, sushi bar offerings, chow fun, and shredded duck. Whether you choose takeout or dine-in, the atmosphere and service are both excellent. Highly recommended!“

“Straight As for Tengda!! This restaurant is our consistent go-to for delicious Pan-Asian food and sushi in Westport & FF County. The ingredients are always fresh and the taste never disappoints our foodie palettes & high-standards. A big bonus for our family is that the menu offers plenty of Gluten Free options and the kitchen takes food allergies seriously and attentively. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing and inviting. The owners are gracious hosts and the service is always pleasant. Definitely give this place a visit if you already haven’t!!!
