“We love Koku! Best sushi for us in northern Westchester. It's so fresh and flavorful, haven't had a bad meal ever. The ambience is great and the servers are quick and reliable- some are super friendly and great and others not so much.“
“I swear by the lunch special. I have been going to Kira Sushi for many many years and the lunch special has been a go to. 2 or 3 rolls with miso soup and in this case edamame. The lunch special at Kira Sushi has a special place in my heart. I also did a charity event years ago and Kira was nice enough to donate a tray of sushi. A nice place. Thank you!“
“For the best Greenwich sushi, I recommend Tsuki Sushi. Dinners for two or a group of friends would be just right in this setting. You can't go wrong with the Hamachi Jalapeno appetizer if you're looking for something hot and flavorful. The sushi chefs are true experts in their field, and it shows in every bite.“
“Shiraz is still the yet to be discovered and immensely enjoyed in White Plains and the NY suburb Tri-States. . Whether it is for weekday lunch or dinner, a couple sublimed drinks or the Sushi bar, or the more elaborate weekend family eats or gatherings and live “Jazzy JAZX” music , or be it at times a most exquisite private party and surreal ambiance, Shiraz has already become a fine cuisine destination which the patrons take pride In experiencing and regularly returning to great times….great food drink quality ingredients, excellent service, receptive to patrons’ suggestions, and with convenient location in the heart of vibrant white plains, there is no need to travel long to enjoy a most sublimed culinary experience.“
“This is definitely the best sushi in the area. The fish Is good quality, and very fresh. Large menu so there’s something for everyone. Inside is very clean and cozy. The service is amazing food is fast and our servers were very nice! They had recommendations and all of them were hits at the table! Definitely recommend this “
“Food is always fresh and staff is so friendly. My God it's like another world. I'm so grateful for them because I love Hawaiian food and their food is always high quality. No notes.Vegetarian options: Tofu is available and the seaweed salad is banger“
“Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. Easy to find street parking especially on weekends. Servers are friendly and attentive; the nigiris are our favorite - fresh and flavorful.A great spot for all types of group and look forward to coming back here again and try other dish!“
“What a gem, the kind of place you can't not come back to. The menu is expansive (plenty of items for vegetarians), the drinks are tasty, and the service is great.Kudos to our waiter Max!Order for two: brussel sprouts, mozzarella donut, limone pizza, twisted ice tea, and blackberry smash.“
“Had omakase for my birthday with my wife recently and I was can 1000% say it was the best meal I have ever eaten in my 44 years. I spent 25 years in high end seafood, (wholesale, retail, private chef, and catering) and was blown away by the quality of the fish! The chef was masterful as he balanced every single course (in had the 16) to perfection. He was incredibly skilled and a wonderful artist. The selection of fish from Japan was amazing. He explained every course as he served us. This place is a gem. I have eaten at just about every single sushi restaurant around and on see no reason to go anywhere else anymore. The place is clean and beautiful, the owner and staff were friendly and very interactive. The preparation and care that went into everyone was second to none. If you enjoy the finest sushi, please don't hesitate and go! And the only way to go is omakase“
“The chef was kind, friendly and a true sushi master. He was excited to share details about his passion — from his epic overnight supply chain bringing in the freshest fish from Tokyo to his personal favorites along the way. Omakase makes for a special, delightful experience!“
“Kira Sushi in Greenwich, CT. Poolside sushi is the only way. Fresh yummy sushi in Greenwhich, CT! @kirasushigreenwich has an expansive menu from sushi to bento boxes. Super yum! Insta: @thehungrysw Tuna Pizza California Roll Yellowtail Scallion Roll Salmon Avo Roll Spicy tuna Roll“
“Best sushi in White Plains by a good bit.Service in-house is also excellent and it’s very affordable for the quality of the food. Genuinely surprised there isn’t a line to get in this place, everything I’ve ever had has been fantastic.“
“They made an exquisite custom platter of smoked salmon and shrimp for the Easter holiday. The family loved it, and there was nothing left at the end of the day. Totally enjoyed everything. Victor and staff always give excellent recommendations for all occasions. Thanks for making our holiday special.“
“Came here for dinner, small lower level with more seating upstairs, ordered 2 rolls- 1 trio and 1 eel avocado, 1 seafood curry and 1 shrimp tempura udon. Service was fast. It gets pretty busy so highly recommend calling to make a reservation.“
“Yum. Food is excellent. Beautifully presented. Had hot and cold appetizers. Crispy rice was excellent. Yellowtail/salmon/tuna pizza and Shrimp Shumai were good. Rock Shrimp Tempura was a little too sweet for my liking. Specialty rolls--Greenwich and Starry Skies--were unique and delicious. Service was great.Only 4 stars because the acoustics are terrible. Seated next to a group, where two tables had been pushed together in the front of the restaurant (??), it was difficult to hear other diners speaking at my table. So many wonderful sushi restaurants near/on the Avenue, I think I'd visit others before returning here.“
“What a wonderful fish market. Super fresh, great selection, and very kind people working there. The warm lobster roll is very tasty, with loads of fresh lobster. I will always get one while buying other fresh seafood to cook at home. I’m also very happy we get to support a local small business instead of a supermarket chain. Amazing value and quality. 100% recommend.“
“First time here and definitely not the last! Met my nephew here, it's his favorite place and I see why. Food was absolutely sumptuous; tempura appetizer was crisp and light, sushi and sushi rolls were delectable, chicken teriyaki was served on a sizzling cast iron mini skillet with hijiki (black seaweed for those who don't know) and simply dazzling. Service was impeccable; food was served promptly, water and tea were kept filled without having to ask, requests (extra pickled ginger) were addressed expediently. This place rivals anything in Manhattan and far surpasses anything of its kind up here. No parking lot but I took a chance and parked in the Key Food shopping center across the street; my nephew parked on the street and had no issue with metered parking. Yes the staff is Chinese, not Japanese, but so what? Aren't all the cooks and servers in Italian restaurants Latino? Get over it, for that dude who complained that it's a Japanese restaurant run by Chinese people. All that matters is that THE PEOPLE performed beyond expectation and delivered brilliantly.“
“We called in a massive take-out order and certainly will do so again! The poke bowls are big beautiful meals with lovely fresh ingredients & options between rices and greens as a base. Sashimi platter presented descent sized cuts of high quality. I've never been a fan of General Tso's Chicken, but their white meat version had me converted! Overall, very pleased.“
“Every single dish we ordered was perfection! The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu, and they will let you know what options are veganizable. We got the veggie lo mein without oyster sauce, miso soup, Malaysian curry ramen soup, veggie and tofu teriyaki and veggie spring rolls, and they were all delicious and packed with vegetables. Highly recommend!“
“Great place for a special dinner. We were promptly greeted in the upper level of the combo bar/restaurant area, and then led downstairs to a beautifully decorated second dining room with bar. Tony actually stopped by to greet us and challenge us with that day's trivia and then sent over a delicious charcuterie platter to go with our drink order (nice touch!). Our dinner started with Tony's salad, and our friends had the dumplings which were perfectly prepared. Main's were a Vel Osso Bucco special, a Veal Chop Parmigiana (size of a Buick), great flavor, and our friends has the Scarpariello and Dover sole respectively. These were accompanied by several glasses of select Cabernet's and a Mersault. Overall wine selection was fantastic (sometimes pricey), but great! The finale included a couple of desserts and coffee to share. Very highly recommended.“
“Very fresh and good amount serving?Friendly service , only I wish the Japanese name of the foods were available on the menu as well.Other than that , will visit again for sure !Had bento meal and they recommended sushi , all very fresh and well cut fish.“
“Dine in or take out, food is delicious! Prices are very reasonable. Located in a strip mall so you can always find parking. Plenty of tables plus a bar if you decide to eat there. Asian Wave is my new lunch spot with its great lunch specials.Parking: Located in a strip mall“
“Quick and easy sushi. Shop at the Daido Mart before or after and it’s a win win. Traditional sushi and udon.Vegetarian options: Almost all sushi rolls can be customized for vegetariansParking: White Plains parking metersKid-friendliness: I took my 9 year old son, we sat at the bar and had a great time watching out the window while eating our yummy sushi.“
“One of the only places around that is Asian food with a nice atmosphere. The dumplings were especially delicious, and the salad and miso soup were especially good. Then the bento box is always fun. The only negative was that the teriyaki chicken could have a little more char on it.“
“A sweet, cozy in Scarsdale's downtown. The sweet couple who own and run it don't speak much English, but being there feels a bit like eating in their home. This is my six-year-old's favorite restaurant. We like the vegetable dumplings most of all.“
“I absolutely love this sushi restaurant! Every time I order takeout, it's a delightful experience. My favorites are the takoyaki and shrimp tempura – they're always perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. The sashimi here is hands down the best I've ever had. It's always fresh and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys top-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine. A must-visit!“
“Over the last 20 years or so, there have been several restaurants that leased this location. A few pizza places, and now Exit 4. Although Exit 4 has tons and tons of food options, I find it wildly overpriced for what it is. There is always a long wait for food, and I just don't think the price is justified for a food hall. Despite that, the food is pretty good, and it's good for groups (if you're willing to wait and possibly all eat at different times because everyone's food will likely arrive at different points). Since groups of people tend to have different taste buds and preferences, a food hall like this is an excellent choice, as each person can get whatever type of food they want. The sushi, for example, is really fresh and a yummy option. All in all, not my first choice when I am looking for food in town, but not the last, either.“
“Fabulous sushi. Terrific menu with a lot of options. Our family goes frequently and we never get bored since there are so many great rolls, boxes & appetizers in addition to delicious fresh sashimi. The wait staff are friendly, efficient and polite, the restaurant is always clean, and the fish is always very fresh.“
“I'm very pleased with Buddha. Its a spacious and decorated appropriately for the style. People aren't on top of you so it's very comfortable, including the leather chairs. Food is excellent, very tasty, served piping hot and the servers are attentive. They every Asian, Chinese, Japanese and Thai so it meets everyone's taste buds. Buddha is my new favorite spot for the above cuisines. Thank you.“
“I like this place. The large noodle soups are tasty and filling. The steamed shumai are good. Street parking is easy as long as there are spots available. The service is quick and friendly. Best of all, the atmosphere is quiet, relaxing, and casual.“
“Sushi Thai is my favorite restaurant in this Westchester area. There's a wide variety, and all are delicious. I especially like the spring rolls, seaweed salad and special rolls. My favorites are the Tiger Roll and Pink Lady Roll. I can't understand why this restaurant is not more popular. Perhaps because the ambience is not cozy -- but that means I can always find a table.“
“My partner and I got a late weekday omakase and ended up having the room with Harry all to ourselves. There were only a few other parties in the restaurant. If you're doing omakase, definitely get the appetizers. They were some of the most interesting dishes we had during the meal. We liked the sushi omakase, too, but they were very similar to each other (torched, same spiciness). That being said, the fish were all very fresh and nicely presented, and there was an abundance of uni, my fave. The rolled up in seaweed and shiso leaf as well as the mildly sweet egg custard cubes at the end were also a nice touch.I'd skip the cocktails. The menu is enticing, but they were mostly ice, and not the best Japanese whisky. We also got a negori sake, which was not the actual one we ordered - we realized too late - and the waitress didn't know to shake the bottle. But I liked having about eight options of sake.“
“Alex is a great host/owner,.. he was very polite and helpful for an out of town driver. I ended up staying over and was so happy I went back the next night. I appreciate his great service and his cooks great work!... I has a great experience. I will definitely come back if I can!...?“
