Dunkin' Donuts in Windsor Locks

“Ok so basically it goes like this...5 star! 5 star! 5 star!!!! Last you heard from me I was way out West locked in battle with a forest chimcken! But now I'm in NEW ENGLAND! I had gotten into town by way of plane earlier that morning. I walked on the side of the interstate to get to my hotel in the wee hours of the morn. So, dear reader as you may recall not much has been going my way lately. But I ain't crying about it because Doctor DAVE (does he know the Man I drive with?) is helping me. I'm poor in health...but I am RICH in friendship! And when I got into Dinkyes I was rich in COFFEE!! Connecticut is DOMKEY COUNTY! Very friendly crew and very friendly customers! I got coffee (brown material), sandwich (egg), and hashed browns! Then I walked 2 miles to the library and read about IRELAND! Then, my friend (remember how I said I was rich in em?) picked me up in his car. And we drove to a government office so he could get on the dole. Then we drove to go get us some tailored suits! Why? Because our OTHER FRIEND (see what I mean?) is getting married to the love of his life!!!! I loved coffee at Dunkies. Thank you!“

“There’s something nostalgic about tasting Dunkin’ Donuts. The soft dough that melts in my mouth brings up the memories and the melody of my grandfathers voice. Every time he came over he would bring a box of donuts, sitting at the table with his coffee we enjoyed each other's company. Even though he’s gone I still go to dunkin, my other relatives gift me gift cards in remembrance of him. Keeping the dunkin tradition alive. However, every time I would go to my local Dunkin ( not this dunkin). I could never find the memories or hear the melodies of his voice when I bite in the donuts. The donuts at other Dunkin’s were always dry and sloppy. So I just accepted I would never taste the nostalgic taste of Dunkin’ Donuts again. The other Dunkin’s were just Dunkin’s. However this one was Dunkin Donuts, because when I bit into that donut. The memories flooded back to me the softness of the dough that melted, made my brain melt emotionally. I finally found the nostalgic senses around me, for a moment I was brought back in time. Thinking the box of donuts was brought for me by my grandpa. This may all sound like I’m crazy but I’m not, when you miss a loved one who is no longer around you look for them, whether it’s songs, birds and in my case Dunkin’ Donuts. This Dunkin brought back what Dunkin meant to me. The donuts were not the only thing that tasted of perfection, I also got a mocha frozen triple mocha coffee. Awhile ago in my junior year this drink spiked my love for dunkin coffee. The first sip of my mocha triple frozen coffee today, brought me back to the first time I ordered it. I could taste the sweetness of the mocha, complimented by the slushy coffee. I’ve ordered this drink from other Dunkin’s and they have never made my taste buds dance with joy like this Dunkin did. Other Dunkin’s always forgot the mocha swirl. However this dunkin made beautiful drizzles with the mocha, adding the right amount to create a delicious creamy chocolate mousse flavor. This is the best Dunkin I’ve ever tried and I’ve gone to Suffield, Southwick and enfield Dunkin’s but this Dunkin outdid them all. I didn’t personally pick up my order, my dad did after going to the gym and he told me that the staff was friendly. Which is shocking because I rarely experience friendly staff at Dunkin. Anyways here’s a picture of my mocha I drank some before because I couldn’t help myself!“

“Although people bash this location its the best one Ive been too. Team is great always smiling and greeting with gratitude and love, especially the manager such a respectful and brilliant young man! They work to accommodate every customer and get treated like crap by impatient and rude people. This is from you're regular customer 2 large hot 8 cream 8 sugars and vanilla shots. You guys continue to love and care there's not many people like this anymore ANYWHERE!“

“This is for the Dunkin' next to gate 25 just to be clear. This Dunkin' was a nice quick stop to get some drinks and snacks. This location has the new next-gen design, with modern and convenient features. One thing that was not so convenient however was the kiosks. I've ordered from Dunkin' kiosks before, but this one seemed to be operated by the airport. It was very confusing and not user friendly at all. The menu was hard to view, and getting the check out was a bit confusing as well. But, the food and drinks came out fast, looked and tasted good, and the employee working there was very nice. Overall a good location, but maybe try to order in person to avoid the unneeded confusion with the kiosks.“
