“Brazilian Centro Bakery offers a very nice selection of traditional sweet and savory prepared Brazilian foods. I ordered the coxinha and a cheese-filled pastry, the name of which escapes me. They were crazy delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining the choices to a non-native Brazilian. Can’t wait to return to try other dishes!“
“Writing this review as much for the restaurant/cafe as for sibling business next store, the commercial espresso repair business also operating under the name Cafe Italia.
I found these guys looking for a specialist to rehab a commercial Nuova Simonelli single-head machine we use in our retail showroom. And I came to the right place!
Incredible workshop and know-how. These guys have full lathe and CNC capabilities to make their own parts as needed.They've also got a direct lines to Italy to order parts direct and I wouldn't bring my machine to any other place for service.
Good honest old world excellence -- highly recommend the repair and service aspect!
But I also got to experience the restaurant/cafe when picking up my machine after it was serviced. Feels like walking through a portal directly to Southern Italy. This place had incredible coffee and more authentic atmosphere than most other cafes this side of the Atlantic.
Stand at the counter and order an espresso -- worth it!
Stand-up family business. They're super busy so we were lucky they were able to take our repair. They even came back for a housecall after we experienced a later issue with the machine that was totally unrelated to their work -- small bit of sediment from the city waterline clogged a valve. These guys came in like a NASCAR pit crew and tore the machine down, diagnosed and fixed the issue, and left w/out accepting a dime.
Recommend their repair service 10/10.
And the cafe might be an 11.“

“While visiting family, we found an amazing breakfast spot that blew us away. Back in Brooklyn, we’re used to Defonte’s Sandwich Shop, and not many places can match their incredible flavors. But this place? It came pretty close! My sister-in-law highly recommended it, and she was right—every bite was fantastic.
We tried the spicy sandwich, filled with cheese, eggs, and just the right amount of bacon. The flavors were spot-on—the perfect blend of spice, soft cheese, and crispy bacon made every bite unforgettable. If you're in the area, we highly recommend stopping by for breakfast. “The only thing here is that they denied me a drink one time i walked in and i still had 10 mins before last call and the perseon saod we dont just serve anyone off the street at this time... I was so upset. I will never forget that. The owner must think he is better than the people who keep him in business if thats the way he treats us. Its us that keep him in business he should remind his bartenders that as well. Food is great but always wOut of wings..... Come on thats the go to food for the bar. But besides that the bartenders are nice and the bar is clean cheaper than Ledgends and some other bars.“

“So I’ve been going there with my family for years now. There is never been a time not once that the food was not phenomenal the attention to detail On even a simple sandwich is done very well. The lobster grilled cheese is amazing. Their breakfast burger was amazing. They’re baked goods are delicious. I’ll continue to go there and enjoy it. It truly is a great place with delicious food, compliments to the owner and the chef.“

“jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“

“We have been going here since they opened up and everything has been consistently good. They always have a pup cup for our dog and give their all to serve their customers. I love their donuts that they have now. I asked them if they could add a donut with maple frosting to their list and they made it the next day! Top notch customer service and an owner with a big heart. We love going here for all of our sweet treats!“

“Outstanding quality. Ordered a canoli cake for a birthday. The cream frosting was amazing. The cake was great tasting, flavorful, and fresh- didn’t have the artificial cake mix taste. Best canoli cake we have ever had- price was very reasonable. Ordered the small that serves 7-10 but it served 12 easily. Would never order anywhere else!!“

“Matt hosted My Place Preschool for a field trip. He gave 3 and 4 year olds a tour of the shop and treated us to delicious cookies! 🍪 It was a blast. This bakery offers amazing treats but the owners are local and so wonderful. I was so glad they were able to host us!“
