“I recently tried the chicken parm grinder at Mad River Creamery & Deli, and it was a really solid choice. The chicken cutlet was nicely breaded, tender, and held up well under the sauce. The marinara was flavorful — tangy with a hint of sweetness — and there was a generous amount of melted cheese that pulled everything together. The bread was fresh and hearty with a nice toasted soft crunch to it , the kind of roll that didn’t get soggy after a few bites, which made the sandwich feel substantial but balanced. I liked that there was a good ratio of chicken to sauce to bread. Service was friendly and efficient, owner welcomed us and provided free ice cream samples as we waited for our grinders ( husband got the steak and cheese for his 3rd time ) being a deli, the portion felt more like a meal than a quick snack. The atmosphere at Mad River Creamery & Deli is welcoming — cozy and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a bit with a friend (or after getting some ice cream). Already know what I want when I return . “Beer is great! Several different options.
Great chances at fun like trivia, bingo, comedians, etc.
However, the music they play is always horrific and loud. Can’t even hold a conversation when around the table. Doesn’t matter the day or event, the taste in music makes me not want to come back! Have asked to change but it never happens, and when ask to lower it lasts for a few minutes but goes back up.
Food is great! Love the people that prepare the food!
I will still go here but honestly want to bring head phones to tune out the murder music.“

“Factory Square is a huge old factory that was converted into a mixed-use space. Parking was free and plentiful; you have the option to park on street or in their huge lot. It's located on a paved bike trail too; the entrance by the bike path didn't have an elevator but on the side entrance, there was one. The space was spacious, loved the exposed pipes, bricks, and the historic feel.

There were a few businesses that we visited on this occasion. The first one was Perkatory Coffee for some caffeine; then Rosie's Royal chocolate for some sweets; then The Lab for lunch; finally, Witchcraft Brewery for a beer. Service from these places were great. There were tables and seats in the hallway you can dine and relax at. Other businesses include, a bakery, a pet shop, CrossFit, escape room, arcade, etc.

I think this is a great use of space and a fun spot to hang out at. I loved all the options there. I think they're constantly adding new businesses too. Overall, a fun spot and worth the visit!“

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! “This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I tried beers from Lasting Brass at bars before, but this was my first visit to the brewery.

The brewery occupies a separate building near a picturesque area with a river. It has 2 separated outdoor patios and a small area indoors. No food is served inside, but food trucks might are onsite occasionally.

I already had several favorite beers from Lasting Brass, because they were not shy to experiment with flavors. So this time I tried all beers they had on tap. Luckily, there is an option to order a small pour. I have to say, that some beers really impressed me. All the beers I tried were solid, crushable and tasty. But the special place in my heart is reserved to their flagship beers - Java Bloom (Imperial Stout) and Contusion (Sour IPA). These 2 were really bursting with flavor, that was complex and layered. On top of the beers, I thoroughly enjoyed the community in this place. It was filled with regulars, everyone knew each other and it was just a really cozy and friendly environment.

I do recommend this brewery to everyone and it is worth a dedicated trip.“

Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. “I'm new in the Bristol area. One day I decided to come eat at friendlys and ever since I've been coming here. They are friendly here, the food is always fresh, neatly served and delicious. I love it and so does my 9 year old daughter. I'd recommend friedlys to others any day , and I do actually. My niece comes here too now with me all the time

I have a DD about 2mns from my house but i rather drive all the way to exit 25 (i am by Naugatuck Valley Community College) to get it from this place. I work in Meriden and used to buy it over there however idk what happened 😐 that they started to make my coffee nasty. Mess up on my oders all the time. Asked for hazelnut shot and would give me a coffee tasting like pumkin spice 😫. Tried an other DD in Meriden and they never ever put sugar in the coffee even though i always ask for 6 sugars. Out of like 20times i went there ild say 2 maybe 3 times they put sugar 🙄🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ so i tried this location on Kukas ln and hasn't failed me yet. They're quick, polite and make my coffee perfect 👌🏼 🥰.
