I had never been to the Pendry before this weekend. My husband booked a room here for a date night/staycation. I have to say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Firstly, our room was stunning, with a sweeping view of the wharf. Secondly, it was immaculate and well appointed. Very nice and relaxing. I loved the pool and rooftop bar. Fitness center was clean and fulfilling. Customer service was outstanding and met my every need. I will definitely return

Bar Pendry offers an upscale yet down-to-earth, welcoming appeal, with a great vibe, menu, and cocktails that are all on point. The bar is a favorite spot in DC, where bartenders are excellent—knowledgeable, attentive, and skilled—and drinks, both on and off the menu, are well-crafted and speakeasy-level. The boozy tea experiences, including the Chefsgiving and Mother’s Day events, are cute, classy, and beautiful, with lovely, unique teas and elegant ambience, plus sweet touches like roses and complimentary champagne. However, the food selections on the tiered plate are just ok, leaning toward the vegan side and tasting average, with some items not to everyone’s liking. Prices are higher than average, but the quality and service are worth it. The ambience is perfect for a girls’ tea party or brunch, making it a beautiful experience overall.
