Basebowl, located near the Nationals stadium, offers a range of Chinese dishes despite its name. The food comes out quickly and the service is good. Customers now enjoy a variety of divine dishes such as General Taos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and Mongolian beef that changed a life. The pan fried chicken dumplings are excellent and the drinks were strong, including a highly recommended blueberry margarita. The wings are crispy diner wings, not Asian fusion like you’d expect but still good. The atmosphere could be better, but the place is pretty no-nonsense and straight forward overall with a nice open dining area. It remains a good choice for those seeking flavorful Chinese food at reasonable prices.
