Me and our party of 12 dropped in for a bite of lunch. I looked over the menu, but I just didn't feel like another sandwich ? and fries for lunch. So they mentioned they had beef ? short Ribs with mash potatoes and green beans. It was the best dish I ever had my entire week in Washington DC. They've got some really good burgers here. The Rough Rider burger is one of my personal favorites, as well as their chocolate milkshake. The bleu cheese gives it a nice, salty flavor, and the fries are nicely crisp. Considering that the number of options near the U.S Capitol are limited, unless you actually dine inside the Capitol or walk towards Eastern Market, this restaurant would probably be my go-to.

My family and I enjoyed a great and fun lunch. The appetizer and entrees were delicious. The waitstaff and hostess were excellent and friendly. We will be back to dine again in the future.
