My first time in DC this place was amazing! We came late night and the food was amazing. The resturant manager Travis gave us a great experience. And our bartender Plaevewill was the best!!! And Wleapous was also GREAT!!! Come and visit.

I stopped by for dinner. I’m in town for business so it was just me. I told the hostess a table or a spot at the bar would be fine. The front half of the bar was apparently closed for a private event so I was directed to the back half of the bar. The bar set up on this back side is incredibly awkward. City Tap House - Penn Quarter is conveniently located and has an enjoyable atmosphere. I was with a party of 4. We made reservations and were promptly seated when we arrived around 8 PM on a Tuesday. The place was full of customers. I did not rate their service as excellent because some of us were annoyed by their ordering process, which is through a QR Code. None of us had dined there before.
