From the moment I walked in, the staff set the tone for an exceptional visit. Warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, they took the time to walk me through the menu, highlighting options and dipping sauces that added an extra layer of excitement to the experience. I opted for the Chicken & Chips, paired with a tangy Dijon mayonnaise dipping sauce and a refreshingly crisp fresh lemonade. While the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, I highly recommend sitting outside — you’ll be right next to a playful waterfall that adds a vibrant, relaxing ambiance to your meal. When my order was ready, I was greeted again by a cheerful team member who confirmed everything and pointed out where to find extra condiments. The aroma alone was mouthwatering. The dish arrived with three perfectly golden pieces of chicken nestled atop a generous bed of thick-cut fries — or “chips,” as the Brits would say. The chicken was a standout: light, crisp, and airy on the outside, giving way to tender, juicy white meat within. The coating was flavorful without overpowering the chicken itself — a masterful balance of texture and taste. The chips were just as impressive — crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy like mashed potatoes on the inside. Each bite was elevated by the accompanying sauces, which were generously portioned and versatile enough to complement both the chicken and the chips. This wasn’t just a meal — it was an experience. Delicious, well-executed comfort food with a gourmet twist, served with top-tier hospitality in a lively setting. The price point was fair and absolutely worth it for the quality of both the food and service. “All of the staff were super friendly. We definitely felt under dressed. I got the eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. There wasn't much hollandaise sauce, so it was a bit dry and the Smoked Salmon was strong. Their potatoes and veggies needed seasoning. My daughter enjoyed her french toast. For basic Brunch, it was pricey. Not everything they offer is on the menu, we had to ask about juice and coffee.“

“Dropped by for dinner, and it was just a short walk from the Ritz. The food was ok, and the service was spotty. The place was pretty busy with hotel guests. The decor was nice and the lounge was posh. Good to see people out enjoying themselves.“

“Love sharing the memory of the Mighty Mo with my nephew on his birthday. My brother and I are children of the 60's and 70's and remember Hot Shoppe and Mighty Mo's vividly because we spent a lot of time there, but my nephew had not heard of either restaurant. He loved the food and thought the Mighty Mo was the best hamburger he had had in a long time. Enjoyed the Cole Slaw and Onion Rings as well. Bravo Anthem!“

“Food is good and menu has something for everyone. The best part is the staff. Anna is an awesome server. She has taken care of our family a few times and she always remembers us and our preferences. She is great with kids. The last time my daughter and I were there she had another table with a couple that had a baby. She took care of them seamlessly while juggling everyone else.“

“We had such an amazing time here. The vibes were perfect! Truly a great atmosphere, great energy, and such a fun place to spend any day (Sunday for us). Our server Ro was phenomenal- super attentive, friendly, and made our whole experience feel extra special. The GM John was also incredible and above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

“The food is good, but I’m gonna have to remove stars because of the customer service. 😕 When I first entered, I wasn’t greeted. The associate just stared at me, as if to say “I don’t have all day. Are you gonna order anything?” She had the most stony expression… It was only my second time here, so I was quite sure I had not had any negative encounters with anyone. I was trying to get suggestions and ask questions about certain things, but every time I asked a question about something, the server just dumped it in the bowl. He never answered the question. When I got to the cashier, I apologized, because I wondered if I had done something wrong. But he just referred to me as “diva,” and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. I told him I didn’t appreciate being called a diva. I just don’t like being treated like I’m a problem when I haven’t done anything. I gave two stars for service, because my first experience was so amazing! I don’t know what happened.“

“The manager was extremely kind and knowledgeable. He was patient while I asked him questions about my various allergies and gave recommendations with those in mind. The food 🤤 DELICIOUS. The proteins were not dry and well seasoned. Everything was fresh and the portions were generous. Right after I finished my bowl, I ordered one to go! Highly recommend ✨10/10 will return again!“

“Love this place. Walk in the door and immediately to the right is Lawd Shawarma! A wonderfully warm meal of fish & eggs with vegan bread and Christmas-spiced Sorrel / Hibiscus drink. “Was disappointed that almost half of the menu was not available when we visited during lunch hours. Wanted to try the mac n cheese, crab cakes, ribs… none were available. Service was also a bit dismissive. We happened to come on a very hot day and there was no AC - it was just as hot as outside. Still giving 4 stars as the food we did have was good. Especially enjoyed the wings and breakfast wrap.“

“We were in town too see the Cherry Blossoms. While looking for something quick to eat, we stumbled upon SeoulSpice. I have been craving my mother's cooking... You guys are the closest to her cooking that I teared up while eating.... All the way to the last bite. 😋 And then we went again the next night!“

“A concept created during the pandemic, I’m so glad it’s back inside Shilling Canning Company. Available inside and to go, there are six sandwiches on the menu and a weekend breakfast burrito. Every part of the sandwich is created in house except for raising the animals for the meat.Trying every sandwich at their launch party, every single one was delicious, especially with the housemade buns. However, my favorite was the “Chivito” with beef, ham, bacon, egg, and more. The “Ampburger” tastes like a gourmet Big Mac and it’s everything.Their wedge fries are crispy and nice. The homemade chocolate chip cookies are chocolate heavy and always warm. So good!They also sell Mexican Coca-Cola and Sprite in glass bottles.Service is always excellent and street or a paid parking lot are nearby.“
