Back to my roots with comforting vietnamese food in a modern & casual setting.
✨️ Cơm tấm: Traditional vietnamese plate that comes with lemongrass pork chop, steamed pork & egg meatloaf, fried egg, bì, rice with fish sauce and pickled radish/carrots.
✨️Hot stone phõ: Phõ served in a hot stone with everything on the side to be cooked how you liked.
✨️ Bò né: Sizzling beef & eggs served with rice or banh mi.
For those that don't know, I'm half vietnamese and spent a lot of time at eden centre growing up, so I absolutely LOVED this meal with the home-y & comforting flavours of my childhood.
I plan on visiting more often with this being my 2nd time back at eden already this year!

“Loopy's is the best. Just finished some of their delicious Bibim Bop. The Apps are good too - Summer Rolls were crunchy and the shrimp fresh and fried dumplings were delish also. Definitely recommend, eaten here dozens of times and always consistently great.“

“Food is good and menu has something for everyone. The best part is the staff. Anna is an awesome server. She has taken care of our family a few times and she always remembers us and our preferences. She is great with kids. The last time my daughter and I were there she had another table with a couple that had a baby. She took care of them seamlessly while juggling everyone else.“

“Hi! I love the food, but I just had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE at Rosslyn. The person at the counter threw my food at me, was incredibly rude, and laughed at me while I was speaking with the manager. A total lack of respect. Me gusta mucho la comida , pero la atención de la sra de el mostrador fue realmente fatal , me tiró la comida , le pregunté el nombre de forma amable h me dijo que no tenía y después con actitud grosera mientras yo hablaba con el manager , esto daña la imagen de este lugar ! Es importante que ella reciba entrenamiento de servicio al cliente .“

“We were in town too see the Cherry Blossoms. While looking for something quick to eat, we stumbled upon SeoulSpice. I have been craving my mother's cooking... You guys are the closest to her cooking that I teared up while eating.... All the way to the last bite. 😋 And then we went again the next night!“

“If you are looking for ramen in the DMV. This is the place to go. I’ve been going here for some years now and it’s far from me but worth the drive and closer than flying to Japan when I want some ramen. The staff you can tell eat, sleep and dream about their craft which you can taste in every bowl they make. I’ve had ramen in Japan and this is one of the closest places I’ve been to that remind me of Japan. So below is a collection of different special ramens that they do during certain times.“

“Great brunch foods in a western tavern like cozy space. Highly recommend the huevos rancheros which is very flavorful, fresh and delicious. I got the pancake stack with eggs and hash. The hash was way too salty so I had to ask for a new order but the pancakes were fluffy and moist.“

“I’d recommend the chocolate pie over the key lime because A. It was too sour and B. I bit down on something metallic. Fortunately the guy was very understanding and gave me a chocolate pie on the house so I’d say definitely still try it out. Just FYI though, it’s only open 12-5 and that’s just Wednesday through Saturday. The rest of the week it’s entirely closed.“

“I have dined at this restaurant numerous times since April 2024. They have greeted me at the door and have made me feel like I was a real VIP customer. The food has always been delicious , my favorite is the Tuscan Chicken. The bar menu up stairs- Martini's are absolutely fabulous. I look for this to be my hangout meeting spots for business. I appreciate the warm welcoming feeling I get when I visit.“

“Best daily spot in the foggy bottom area. I’ve been a student here at GW and now in my senior year I’ve realized this place is a part of my daily life. The staff is more than welcoming and serve me and multiple friends with love and care. There’s a reason we are here 3x a week and the food definitely is a huge role in that too.
Chicken Katsudon Boxed Entree is my go to!
P.s. regarding the racism part, my group and I are from all walks of life and I don’t say that lightly. We have never personally ever had any form of racism in our experience. Regardless on our skin color, facial hair or physical appearance at all.“

“Great potential for the falafel platter, with some missteps that keep it from being five stars.First, the good:- sauces were excellent (toum, shut)- dips were great (hummus, labneh, and a chickpea stew)- bread (shrak) was great- fries were great (served with cilantro)- onion/parsley garnish was very good but needed to be more of it- falafel was good- salata was pretty goodHere’s what can be improved:- the Persian style grilled tomato and grilled onion make no sense as a side for a falafel platter… it should either be served with tabbouleh or chopped raw tomatoes and onion, either of which add freshness and cut through the heavy sauces- speaking of tabbouleh, it was supposed to come with some but didn’t- the fries, falafel and chickpea stew were a little too salty- personal preference: I don’t like pickled beets in general very much, I didn’t like these pickled beets in particular very much, and I strongly feel that pickled cucumbers are superior on a falafelThe good parts about the platter were great. But, the actual falafel wrap was a little off, because it lacked fresh veggies. The sauce, the bread will keep me coming back, but I hope the owners take note of this feedback

“Dropped by for dinner, and it was just a short walk from the Ritz. The food was ok, and the service was spotty. The place was pretty busy with hotel guests. The decor was nice and the lounge was posh. Good to see people out enjoying themselves.“
