I've been to District Alley on H St and District Alley on U St. The three owners Nate, Danielle and Marq are very hospitable and kind. The atmosphere is very welcoming. They have notable DJ's who spin at both spots, the drinks are on point and so is the food. I highly recommend you check them out.

District Alley is a small, intimate bar hidden in an alley. The layout includes seating and movies that play on TV. The vibe is chill, laid back and adult with excellent music. The DJ mix is recorded smooooth good music and throwbacks that bring a fun vibe. The bartender is super nice, upbeat and friendly, and the staff are also upbeat. Drinks from the bar are great and the selections really amp up the vibe. Hookah is for purchase, though not a fan. The place has a grill set up outside for food, but some friends ordering drinks. Looking forward to returning on a regular day, not just as part of a bar crawl.
