District Bites Reviews
What an outstanding experience! While unloading a tour bus full of 42 students, we were warmly greeted by a charming gentleman who welcomed us to the Capital One Arena. We asked about a place that could accommodate our large group, unaware that he was actually the manager of District E Bites. Incredibly, within just 15 minutes, the entire team had transformed the patio area into a perfect dining space—tables and chairs were set up, silverware was in place, and cups of ice and...read full review
Out of town-er for the Blink-182 concert. Wish I could leave a review of the food, but I never got to try it because the hostess looked at me like I had 50 heads when I asked for a table and she said “you can’t sit at the bar?” I asked if there were any seats at the bar, she got very snippy and said she couldn’t see the bar. District Bites, located in Chinatown inside the building housing Regal theater and near Capital One Arena, offers a great spot to visit before or after a movie. The pub serves sandwiches, fries, and burgers, and has been reworked after the previous restaurant closed. The space also hosts events, featuring a dance floor, tables for board games, and video games. The service can sometimes be slow or forgetful, but many customers find the staff friendly and the food good. The burgers and fries are cooked perfectly, hot, and delicious. The drinks are affordable, especially during extended happy hour. Nachos are popular for sharing or as a meal. Although located in a mall tucked away from Main Street, the bar area offers stellar drinks and a relaxed vibe. The ambiance has some clubby elements, which might not be ideal for taking food photos or having conversations. Overall, District Bites provides a welcoming place to eat, drink, and spend time with friends in the D.C. area.
