We recently hosted a corporate event in the Dalmatian Room at Present Company Pub, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Lauren, the event coordinator, was fantastic to work with—organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly.

Nashville Hot wings and burnt ends were great. Great staff, cool music, and a good beer selection.
Present Company Public House is a welcoming restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, located in an old firehouse building. The staff is kind and attentive, enhancing the dining experience. The menu features delicious burgers, veggie burritos, appetizers, and salads. Guests can enjoy a good selection of draft and canned beers, and the happy hour is noted as one of the best in DC, especially for mini burgers and tacos. The restaurant offers a lively atmosphere with great vibes, banger sound, and plants everywhere that add a cozy touch. It’s not too loud, so guests can easily hear their friends in conversation even when it’s full. The upstairs Dalmatian room provides a private setting with its own bar and bathroom, making it perfect for private events. The food is often served quickly and is generally delicious, with particular praise for the hot sauces and weekend brunch with mimosas. The salmon tartine is highly recommended for brunch, and the bartender is known for being amazing. Though the food and service are usually excellent, there have been some minor issues like missing appetizers or limited merchandise stock. Overall, Present Company Public House is a hidden gem with fun bartenders and friendly customers, making it a great spot for both group outings and solo visits where new friends can be made.
