Ilili DC is a great place for dining. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is very intimate. The food is fresh, tasty, and different than what you’d expect. For appetizers, fantastic pickled veg, diver scallops, duck shwarma, roasted cauliflower, lamb stuffed grape leaves, fried kibbeh, and malfouf (cabbage that will turn you vegan) are available. The lamb shank and brussel sprouts with grapes and walnut are delicious. For dessert, the candy bar and mouhalabiyyeh are an order again. The Lebanese wine is excellent and the cocktails are great. A highly recommended main course is the meatballs, potatoes, and rice. The service is excellent from every staff member, with attentive and knowledgeable waiters who guide guests on what to pair and accommodate allergies like shellfish or pork restrictions. Perfect for any occasion, especially birthdays or date night. It is expensive but completely worth it for a special occasion.
