“Delicious fresh food, beautiful presentation. Wonderful attentive staff, highly recommend. We will definitely return to enjoy an evening with music of Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Thank you very much.“

“We order two of the burger combos; a double cheese and a halal bacon cheese. Both were quite quite good and the portion size was more than adequate. My double cheese was hefty even and the fries were done nicely - a simple thing often done poorly.

We ordered though the restaurants website and the price was 13.50 each plus tax and tip. They also seem to have a rewards program.

The downside was that the order was delivered by Uber Eats and while the delivery driver was prompt I am not a fan of Uber Eats due to their inflated surcharges. Unfortunately, all the delivery services are have inflated surcharges while passing little into the drivers.

Overall we quite liked it and I plan on trying their gyros and rice platters in the near future.“

“Just flew in on a redeye and got take-out here. It’s literally 1:30, and really no other places are open. Huge shout out to the dishes. Everything tasted amazing, and the seasoning was really on point!! Definitely would recommend checking this spot out. I know I’ll adding this place as a go to late night study snack.“

“We spotted this cute little place while walking by and those red umbrellas caught our eye. We sat outside under the trees and had the tortilla and falafel, the food was absolutely amazing! The staff were super friendly and attentive too. Definitely worth stopping by! ❤“

“We had never tried Afghani food before, and I am so glad we did. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They recommended the Mini Taste of Arocostia for our first time. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. They packed all our leftovers into boxes for us for our way home. We will definitely be going back!“

“Loved every thing about my experience at Lapis. Our server, Diana, was top-tier! She recommended dishes and every one of them were perfection. Go with an appetite and friends/family so you can order several different dishes and taste them all. Sambosa trio, mantoo beef, kofta...taste it all! Save room for dessert because the Sharbat may have changed my life. Wish I lived nearby instead of just in town visiting family!“

“I had the chicken kabob plate. In the picture there's white rice on the plate (under the naan bread). The chicken, both types of rice, and the bread were my favorite parts!! It was delicious and very filling. I didn't eat the salad (I don't eat salad, and I didn't know it came with the meal). I also tried the chickpeas, but I didn't finish them. They were ok.“

“We had a great experience at RASA in Washington, DC. We ordered the Chicken Tikka and Lamb Kebab bowls, and both were delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the meat was flavorful, tender, and moist. The bowls were well balanced, with plenty of flavor in every bite. A great option for fresh, healthy Indian food in DC.“

“The pizza sauce is superior and the meat is pork-free, for those who have dietary restrictions. I haven't ordered anything I didn't like. Even the banana pudding was good.“

“They have a very unique specialty pizza with gyro meat that is amazing and unlike any other I have found. So yum. Also, when I had one bad delivery experience after usually good service, they went out of their way to make it up to me on the next order. Joanna, one of the staff members has always been the same, warm, patient person. If I come in late before it's about to close, it's super busy or anytime...she greets you with a smile and excitement to serve. As a DC native and ward 8 resident, knowing such a well run business is in my community is a gift.“
