“Really enjoyed the shrimp & eggplant hotpot, and the garlic chicken, which came with snowpeas and mushrooms. Paired with a pot of jasmine tea and sesame balls for dessert. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem - so glad a friend recommended it.

“The food was delicious, the owner and staff were very kind especially with our 13 month old who about 45 minutes in was getting very stubborn and wanted to walk around.

I would highly recommend the laksa, which was my favorite dish out of the 5 we ordered. The lamb satay came second. Ask for some extra sambal, it wasn’t too sweet but the perfect amount of spice!!“

“My wife and I were looking for a halal chinese spot while visiting DC and this was highly recommended on DoorDash so gave it a shot. Safe it say DoorDash's reviews were right! One of the best chinese food I had in the USA so far. And it's halal. We had the friend rice with chicken, Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli. All of the 3 were phenomenal. All the halal Chinese food I had in the US was sub-par but this is an exception. Will definitely eat at this place again when in DC and highly recommend!

“I went at noon and it was not crowded at all, and it was quiet, a big bonus for me these days. No loud music and people shouting in order to converse over it. The food was very good, very fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for Asian fusion cuisine and sushi.“

“I've ordered from this place sooo much. I always get the sashimi, I usually get the sashimi platter. This last time I got the sashimi appetizer + vegetable dumplings. I have learned that this is one of the sushi places that plays with the term, "white fish." Some places use it for white tuna, some use it for yellowtail etc. I got the sushimi appetizer as it was advertised as salmon, tuna, and white fish--my favorites, except not the white fish I wanted lol. This was more translucent, and half-pink. That was my gamble. Can't really tell what the white sashimi I get in the platter is, I think its white tuna, but I won't make the mistake again.Nice, solid slices of shaved ginger. Good if you're sick! I do wish the sashimi came with a condiment cup like the veggie dumplings did. Veggie dumplings were fine, nice and plump.Also love that the place is open late--I've been a night owl my whole life, so works for me!5 stars overall. I've only been in-person once, and it was very pleasant. You need to be let in, which doesn't take long. Lots of randos wandering around Chinatown so I get it.“

“This place is such a great local spot, I used to mostly go to the Han Palace which is nearby but thought I'd try out Eddie's since it's closer to my house. But after going here twice now I can say it definitely will be my go-to spot in the future. The portions for the lunch and dinner specials are VERY generous and give such a great value. “Khin’s Sushi gets my vote for tasty sushi at reasonable prices. Khin’s is in an odd space. They share their small and minimal dining area with a pizza place. Khin’s also sells gelato. It’s a weird one-stop-shop for all things lunch. But I digress. We tried a variety of basic sushi like their California roll. It was all good. The rolls were not huge. But we enjoyed them. The service is a bit gruff. And the ambiance is pure 80’s fast food. But forget about all of that. Go in, grab some sushi while your spouse/partner/friend grabs a slice. And enjoy a good meal together. We will return.“

A lot of reviewers seem to be confused about the delivery system, they deliver through DoorDash, not their own driver. So all the bad reviews complaining about delivery should really be directed towards DoorDash. Anyways, great place and lovely family owned business!“

It feels silly to review an egg roll, but this one was so much better than what you normally get at Chinese takeout places. The wrapper was crispy but not over-fried, and the filling was robust. The orange chicken was also delightful, albeit on the salty side. High quality chicken chunks, a decent amount of tender-crisp broccoli, and the sauce wasn’t overwhelming or gloppy. Even the rice was well made! Will be ordering again!“
