“I visited Bites in Annandale for the first time yesterday, and I absolutely fell in love with the place. The food is incredible—so flavorful, with lots of topping choices and a variety of sauces. They have delicious chicken and another meat option (both were amazing). I highly recommend getting the combo! Their desserts are also a must-try. I had a crepe with Oreo, KitKat, Nutella, banana, and strawberries, and it was absolutely delicious.

The best part is that they’re open until 4 in the morning, which was perfect since I was looking for a late-night spot. The staff was extremely friendly, even during the late hours. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can enjoy the patio on a nice day. Everything was just perfect. I can’t recommend Bites enough—whether it’s for a quick bite during the day or a late-night meal, this place is worth a visit!

Kid-friendliness: I would recommend the lamb for kids or anyone not used to spicy food, as the chicken has a bit of a spicy kick. The lamb is flavorful and a great alternative!“

Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. After having gone a few times, my honest review is that you can taste that your food was made with care here.
I am not personally a fan of this style of pizza but the value in the other menu items, specifically the smash burger is phenomenal. The price and the quality is unparalleled. I will return soon to cheat on my diet and recommend you do the same if you are reading this.
They are a bit understaffed and could be a little more friendly with service, but the quality remains excellent so I am a happy customer overall.“

“This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely fell in love with their smash burgers. The flavor profiles all come together so well. The burgers are so well made. You can taste the quality and service is great as well. The owner is super attentive and puts out a fantastic product. They have seating for a few people inside and a couple of tables right outside the storefront.“

When we arrived, the restaurant had received our order but they hadn’t been notified about it, so they said it would be just a few minutes. The owner was extremely apologetic and offered us a complimentary baklava as an apologetic gesture. As the kitchen prepared our order, we chatted the the owner (Sarfraz) and he was extremely pleasant. We tried the hummus, tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, gyro sandwich and chicken souvlaki sandwich. “Ate here for the first time today. Loved the lamb platter I had. Large enough it should have been 2 meals, but I liked it enough it was only one.

Service was quick even during lunchtime rush. I usually go to the “Halal guys” down the street, but will definitely swap over to Shah’s.

I can’t wait to go back to try their chicken and waffles!

Parking: If there is no parking immediately around the building, there is usually some just behind the building. This site used to be a Dunkin’ Donuts and the lot was always full. Sometimes disconcerting to maneuver around because it was so tight.
Shah’s did a great job cleaning up some of that parking madness.“
