They do have options but you should really eat here as there main attraction is meat Decor: The ambiance is inviting and chill. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. And the bonus is they have outside heaters that keep you warm if you want to sit outside. Food Highlights: The Chicken Kabob stole the show for me as it was very well marinated and they included bread and yogurt which was great! Portion Size: Portion sizes are pretty good here so you definitely won't leave hungry, and you might even have some leftovers to enjoy later. But I wish they included 1-2 pieces of chicken as there was a lot more rice to chicken. Price: Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I'd say the prices are reasonable especially for Tyson Area. And just wanted to say there service was really good and got the chance to met the owner Peter Tabibian who was very nice and welcoming! We had the mini tasting menu and there were very few adjustments needed. “Since I recently discovered Knossos, I have been back twice. This small restaurant is tucked into an Eldon strip mall and would be easy to overlook. When I called in my order, I as impressed with the courtesy and ease of the process. The man took my order, read it back, gave me the price and told me when I could pick it up. When I arrived, the food was ready, and the counterman checked the order to make sure nothing was missing (what a concept). The food was fresh well prepared and very good. And it was reasonably priced. The gyro, falafel, and salads were all good and the portions generous, and they do not skimp on hummus or tatsiki. There are a wide variety of appetizers and menu items, all I tried were good and I especially recommend the Greek fries, which are seasoned and served with feta cheese. Knossos also makes a surprisingly good burger, single or double. If you are looking for a quick alternative to your takeout routine, I highly recommend Knossos for good, reasonably priced, fresh food. And the staff is friendly, efficient, fast and they definitely take pride in their food and want to make sure the customers enjoy your meal.“
“The food here is wonderful. Their chapli kabob were my favorite. So flavorful. Their Chana masala were also really good.Was not a fan of their spinach curry at all. And I really wish they had real cups for water. They only had small Styrofoam cups and you have to fill up the water yourself from the corner. Very annoying and takes away from the dinner experience. Such an easy thing to fix as well, will have a lot of impact in the customer comfort.“

“A lovely Ethiopian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, the owners are very welcoming. I've had the Kitfo here, some other beef dishes, and lamb. I haven't tried everything so far, but the Kitfo is definitely my favourite! I recommend getting it 100% raw - I haven't gotten sick from eating it and it goes to show you how clean the food prep and restaurant is. Also, the owners sell lentils and Injera chips which are AMAZING. Very well done!“

Most tables were reserved for an event that afternoon, but when we told her we could be out before then, she seated us and brought out the menus. We ordered using the QR code on the menus, as that was the only option. I will say, that was the only thing I didn't like. I have having to use my phone for everything and wished I could've ordered in person and paid in person. And then the tip part was unclear and it chose the tip for us (18%). That felt kinda weird...what if I wanted to leave more? But that feels like the same complaint, having to order on my phone.Anyway, besides those 2 things, everything else was amazing. The food was fresh, tasty, and was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. The waiter was quick to bring out water and refills. Dina was sweet and chatted with us just the right amount. We ordered the 3 plate appetizer baba ghanoush, grape leaves, and fava beans. They were all good, but the fava beans were extraordinary. We also got the Susu's chicken plate. It was also delicious...and the best part of that plate was the amazing tomato sauce.I can't recommend this place enough and we will surely be back!“

I've been fortunate enough to try styles influenced by the Persian, Shojan, Iranian, Afghan, and Egyptian communities that exist here. I have consistently eaten at Kabob Corner on Main St a ridiculous amount of times, cause I really do think they are the best at what they do. They are dearly hospitable to all customers and proudly stand by the food they freshly make. Their kubideh is moist with that flame-grilled char present in all great kabobs, their chicken ridiculously juicy with a gorgeous rich deep orange, their rice is copious and seasoned, and their Afghani nan fresh out of the tandoor. If you can find room in your stomach, dip the nan in a side of chickpeas or their bournee baunjan (it's this great fried eggplant sauce). Their mantu is also fantastic, but I often find myself too full to finish an entire plate. Great food, great service, great everything.“

“I've been eager to try Eerkin's Uyghur Cuisine for a few months now! My pal and I ventured to the Fairfax location and were excited to try out a variety of Uyghur specialties. The ambiance of the restaurant was quaint and cozy. From the checkered table cloth to yellow walls, I loved how simple and classic all of the decor was alongside Uyghur artifacts. You can really tell Eerkin's is a lively establishment that embodies pieces of Uyghur culture everywhere you turn. I'd also like to applaud the ability for this restaurant to bring together families and friends from all cultures - absolutely beautiful to witness! The service was incredible! Our servers made sure to give us accurate wait times for our food to be ready. They ensured that if a table was available they would let us know and they did just that! We decided to eat the food out of the to-go boxes to save on cleanup, but they were so kind and offered to provide us with additional plates if needed. We started off with two Lamb Kebabs and Samsa, a bun with minced beef, onion, and seasoned with black pepper. The kebabs were tasty bites sprinkled with cumin/house spices that were a great start to the meal. The Samsa was a bit on the heavier side with a strong meaty and onion flavor. Think a meat pie with great spice! We then got the Homemade Laghman - hand-pulled noodles with stir fried lamb and an assortment of onions and peppers. I really enjoyed how the juices from the lamb was essentially the sauce that bound the peppers and onions. Phenomenal! To finish off, we got the Khhazan Lamb Kabab with naan. I really loved the cut on this lamb and thought it paired perfectly with buttery, soft Uyghur naan. The lamb was slightly spicy and packed a great flavor that submerge throughout the naan. Very unique taste that was delectable. The meats were divine! Eerkin's spice mix of a spicy red chili and cumin that was savory in the best way possible. Each were bursting with flavor, incredibly juicy, and were cooked just right. Amazing, quality food and I cannot wait to come back to try more. A fantastic introduction to Uyghur Cuisine - a new favorite of mine!“

I think part of it was because we did come a little early (11:40am-ish), but left at 12:30pm and still no other people ate inside. There were people picking up orders or door-dash deliveries, etc. In any case, we sat down and the service was very fast and courteous. I ordered the Pad See Ewe and it arrived promptly (and super hot too!). The portions were decent and our water was filled once. It was super quiet, so not sure how the vibe is on a Friday or Saturday night. When we paid, the waitress (who I think may have been the owner?) arrived with a ipad where we simply tapped our credit cards and put in a tip. NGL, I like to tip in cash, so I preemptively took out my cash to show the waitress I was not going to forget tipping her, all the while I tapped "no tip" - even though I did tip her! Haha. Overall, a great lunch spot and I will definitely come back here. My only thing I would comment is that there are not a lot of parking spots in front of the restaurant.“

As for the food, I had asked for no cilantro which was ignored. I see that was a problem on another review. Hey, my 23&me says I'm genetically linked to dislike cilantro. And it's true!! I picked the gigantic flakes out as best I could but it does bother me for people who have food allergies when you say "no xxx" it should be listened to more seriously so that's an area for growth. I also ordered a side of fries and I thought they were supposed to be seasoned fries but there was no seasoning... which made me think well maybe I just ordered plain fries??? I'm still not sure haha maybe that's how they were supposed to be. “My wife stumbled upon this restaurant on our way home from Florida. It was conveniently located a short walk from our hotel. First off the staff went above and beyond to explain every dish to us as we've never experienced middle eastern food. Every dish we experienced was full of flavor and unique to our palate. It was so enjoyable that we could hardly stop eating. The owner made it a point to bring over a soup we hadn't tried as he was quite proud of. We were not disappointed with it's taste. This was a buffet offered during Ramadan and we had the opportunity to engage with Muslims during the meal. Everything about this restaurant was wonderful and we plan to surely visit again when we come through the area.“
