“Really good chicken rice combo def a 10/10 but I will say I tried the crepe and even thou they did offer a drink on the house which was super appreciated they need to do quality check of the cereal cause I tried the Cinnamon Toast Crunch but it was really stale but the rest of the crepe was good but other then that good food just try and check the cereal so it’s not stale please and you are 5 star worthy 🙂‍↕“

“We had never tried Afghani food before, and I am so glad we did. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They recommended the Mini Taste of Arocostia for our first time. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. They packed all our leftovers into boxes for us for our way home. We will definitely be going back!“

“The place to go if you want to have authentic Mexican food.The place small with few tables and some tables outside and the parking is really tight unless you go on weekends round 7 when the adjoining shops are closed.This being a authentic place you will not get the free chips and salsa but the food is delicious.I had the chicken tacos which are topped by pineapple slices and you get 2 tortias in 1 place,the meat was so flavorful and my daughter had the birra and it was amazing.i would highly recommend this place for the food.“

“My work splurged on us a lunch for us consisting of the Rasa Tantori Tasting Bundle. This meal is advertised as feeding 10 people, I think they are underselling just how much food you get. Were 10 extremely hungry people and then we were 10 very satisfied and perhaps overly full people a few minutes later, with food to spare! Nothing was particularly spicy, there was a little heat on one of the dishes, but nothing crazy. The variety of food is well balanced. Chicken, tofu, saffron rice, Greens, salads, chickpeas and curry with 2 chutneys, even dessert cookies! I recommend this meal if you are looking for an easy way to order a variety of food in one go that can feed 10 hungry, or 14 less hungry people. Especially if any of them are cautious about trying Indian. It was delicious well made. Not to mention conveniently delivered.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

The volunteer who took our order was super friendly and you could feel the passion as they spoke about the business and how their mission is to help the less fortunate. “Passing by, stopped and accepted a great recommendation for Shawarma wrap. It was delicious. I ordered to stepped out and returned food was hot ready to travel and smelled delicious. I instead sat and tasted, wound up staying and enjoying the meal and woody woodpecker cartoons. Staff came and said if you were staying to dine in I would have given a different recommendation to really enjoy the food and taste the flavors. “I recently tried Shah’s Halal Food in Fairfax, and it was a really good experience. The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and filling. I ordered the chicken and lamb over rice platter, and the portions were generous with well-seasoned meat and tasty white sauce. The rice was fresh, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick.

The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was also very fast, which makes it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. If you enjoy New York-style halal food, this place is definitely worth trying in Fairfax.

“Stopped by Jon’s Joint and had the Juicy Lucy along with their shakes, and everything was seriously good and kids loved it.

The burgers were fresh, crispy, and cooked perfectly, with those smashed burger patties getting that delicious crispy edge while still staying juicy inside. The Juicy Lucy was definitely the highlight! 🍔

The shakes were also really good — thick, creamy, and a great pairing with the burger.

“I came to Arlington for a business trip from Atlanta. I've been to the Ballston Food Court several times since I visit frequently. First time at Hal & Als and I ordered the brisket sandwich. the cashier who I assume is the owner was telling me about who he learned to make ribs from down in Atlanta. he was so hospitable too. he asked me to let him know what I thought. I completely forgot. everything was great. halal BBQ is a little different but it blew me away. I'll def revisit when I'm in Arlington again.“

“Thanks for the clarification and i removed my review but My concern came from the menu using the word “ham,” since ham traditionally refers to pork. Turkey or beef versions are normally labeled “turkey ham” or “beef ham.” It may help avoid confusion for Muslim customers if the menu clearly states that your ham is made from turkey or beef.“

“The best Indian food place in the entire DMV area. The most flavorful food around. Our favorite dishes are Chicken 65, Chole Bhature, and Butter chicken. Mango Lassi is delicious as well. The inside is decorated very tastefully, and the staff is super friendly.“

“This was my first experience with this type of food, and it was good! Very filling, the single protein platter was more than I could eat in one sitting, and I'm a rather large eater. I would go back. However, I would say The Halal Guys are comparable to the Little Ceasars or Domino's of their place in the industry. If you want to play it safe with a commercialized version of Halal food, then this is it. Please don't take that as a negative, Little Ceasars has its place in the market & it's time for when necessary, and so does The Halal Guys.“
