“I visited Bites in Annandale for the first time yesterday, and I absolutely fell in love with the place. The food is incredible—so flavorful, with lots of topping choices and a variety of sauces. They have delicious chicken and another meat option (both were amazing). I highly recommend getting the combo! Their desserts are also a must-try. I had a crepe with Oreo, KitKat, Nutella, banana, and strawberries, and it was absolutely delicious.

The best part is that they’re open until 4 in the morning, which was perfect since I was looking for a late-night spot. The staff was extremely friendly, even during the late hours. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can enjoy the patio on a nice day. Everything was just perfect. I can’t recommend Bites enough—whether it’s for a quick bite during the day or a late-night meal, this place is worth a visit!

Kid-friendliness: I would recommend the lamb for kids or anyone not used to spicy food, as the chicken has a bit of a spicy kick. The lamb is flavorful and a great alternative!“

“A home-y “hole in the wall” place with good food and sweets. Don’t let this place’s looks throw you off. The AYCE/buffet is $13.99 and you serve yourself then pay after. The honesty system is strong! During our meal, the workers let us try different sauces and explained the options.

I don’t know the names very well but I had: rice with chickpeas, the “stewed” chicken, tandoori chicken, chickpeas, and eggplant. The eggplant and stewed chicken were my favorite! The meats are all SOOOO tender. We also ordered the Naan and it was the freshest we’ve had!

We ended with dessert from the buffet. It was Gulab and soooo good! It was sweet and perfect to end the meal.

Afterwards, one of the workers was so kind as to explain what each dessert was and the flavors. He let us try one of them for free. And then when I ended up picking 2 other desserts, he gifted them because we were new to the place!!!

“Approaching the place, it is super bright, which helps finding it as the restaurant is set back from the buildings around it. This also gave us a sense of safety walking in.
There was someone at the counter ready to assist us, but being our first time in, we opted for a kiosk, off to the right side, with a big and equally bright screen, displaying images of every dish. This was very helpful and made the ordering easy and quick, even for us newbies to the place.
We opted to take out. Already, in the car, the aroma of delicious food filled the air. Once at our place, we started opening the containers and wrappers, even the packaging was excellent, inside the plastic bag, a heavy-duty paper back, stapled to containers to prevent shifting and spilling during transport.
The food was utterly delicious, from simple salad, tzatziki sauce (some of the best I have tried anywhere), chickpeas, seasoned fries, shawarmas and kabob.
It would be 2 thumbs up but both my hands were busy.“

“I know some people have seen this on ticktock or Instagram, but it doesn't give this place justice. Any size bag of chips can get filled with everything on the menu. Rice, fries, pico, cheese, lamb, beef, and chicken. The pita pouch is fantastic. Can't wait to go back and get the loaded fries!“

“First time here on a Friday night. We had reservations that were mixed up. Even though the restaurant was expected to be full they accommodated the 6 of us. The owner came over to greet us. I told him that this was my first visit. (Everyone else had been several times) Oh then he proceeded to bring bite size samples for me to try. He then offered up suggestions as to what I need to have for an appetizer, main course and even dessert. Food bursts with flavor. But the real experience here was the service. First class. “Tired for first time 8/25, got lamb gyro and wife got lamb over rice, excellent! First of all price = portions. Service friendly and quick. Enough sides ie Chipotle/subway fixings. Dining room spacious for carry out establishment. Got home for the true test, taste. Not the best, but it was pretty darn good! One of the better gyro places in surrounding area. The meat is cubed cut not shaved (lamb) good taste. Portions generous.I definitely going back and adding to restaurants on the pike list.“

After having gone a few times, my honest review is that you can taste that your food was made with care here.
I am not personally a fan of this style of pizza but the value in the other menu items, specifically the smash burger is phenomenal. The price and the quality is unparalleled. I will return soon to cheat on my diet and recommend you do the same if you are reading this.
They are a bit understaffed and could be a little more friendly with service, but the quality remains excellent so I am a happy customer overall.“

There is no smash burger in the whole dmv that compares. Perfectly crispy patties that are still melt in your mouth goodness. Perfect toppings to bun ratio. I wish I could eat this everyday. Never going to another burger spot again I found my home base 🤲🏼
