Delicious food, great prices, and friendly service. I just wish it weren’t tucked away in a hidden corner—it deserves to be easier to find!
Excellent Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food! Super fresh and good size portions. Great service, too. Tina was super sweet! Will definitely be back, this is a hidden gem!
Broke my heart to find out they changed the Chicken Shawarma, it was PERFECT the way it was originally made.

Based on the reviews, The Block Oven in Tysons offers excellent food with fresh ingredients and amazing wood fired bread. The manaeesh, manakeesh, and pide are delicious, fresh, and perfectly baked. The Ush Al Bulbul Mankoosheh and cheese mana’ish are also highly recommended. The Mediterranean dishes, including hummus, falafel, and grilled meats, taste homemade and authentic. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Complimentary hot mint tea is served with the meal. The restaurant is extremely clean. Downsides include a long wait time for food and a frustrating parking situation with valet only and limited spots. Despite this, the incredible food is absolutely worth the trip. The Block Oven is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants and one of the best places for manaesh in the Tysons area.
