Excellent food and atmosphere. We started with a drink at the bar—try the “Old Money”—it's a tasty twist on an Old Fashioned with Anejo tequila. Enjoyed the Steak Frites. Waited a little long for our wine (it was a busy night) but they made it right. All good.
My husband and I dined at The Olde Ebbitt Grill last night to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the staff made us feel special. We especially liked when the hostess remembered our anniversary by expressing her best wishes. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, a consummate professional. We also liked that we didn't feel "rushed." And our meals were delicious. The waiter timed the serving of each course...
This place runs like a well-oiled machine. The employees work in sync with each other and the service is always great. The menu offers a variety of options and over the years we have tried many and never disappointed. I especially like the salmon, beef tenderloin, crab cakes, and sandwiches. Our friends enjoyed the vegetarian options.
