Rimtang DC is a Thai street food restaurant serving amazing and variety food. One of the main highlights that we encountered here was when we arrived near closing time and was told the kitchen would be closing in a few minutes, almost completely leaving the restaurant. Just before we left, though, they told us that the kitchen would be happy to cook for us. I’ve been to many Thai restaurants in the past, usually having the same things on their menus while I was surprised to see different dishes served here. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp with Garlic Salt and it was delicious, with accurate and great spice as well as presentation and flavor. Even the bathroom, decorated nicely and with amazing ambiance, was clean and tidy. Overall, great service, food, and ambiance. 5 stars.

RIMTANG DC was phenomenal. I came here with another family on my trip to D.C. We saw this little Thai restaurant in Georgetown. When we entered, they initially said the kitchen would be closing soon and we were about to leave when the staff came and told us they would make an exception for us.
The interior of the restaurant felt quite cozy and had a very nice ambiance which certainly elevated the experience. I ordered a chicken pad Thai which was delicious. In addition the staff were all very kind and offered great service.
Overall, RIMTANG DC is a great little Thai spot, and I’d highly recommend checking it out if you find yourself craving Thai food in Georgetown.

As a Thai person, I can honestly say I love the taste of this restaurant. It may be small and simple in appearance, but the food is absolutely outstanding. I ordered my dish with spice level 5—and finally, this is the kind of authentic heat and flavor I’ve been craving for so long!
The food is top-notch, the staff is friendly and attentive, and overall, I can’t recommend this place enough.
