When my wife and I visited DC, we were looking for a rooftop bar, and locals recommend us to stop at the Thompson rooftop bar.We were glad to make it to this bar. The service was very friendly, the drinks were great and the appetizers were delicious. The view and atmosphere were awesome. I would highly recommend anybody looking for a rooftop bar in the DC area.
Our recent stay at the Thompson Hotel in DC was fantastic! Hotel has a great location, beautiful rooms, and great vibe. The rooftop bar had delicious food and absolutely incredible drinks. The bar tender, Mike Pierce was FABULOUS. Hands down best bartender we’ve ever had! His Old Fashions are legendary. Service especially memorable, drinks also better than average “hotel bar” and the light bites were solid. 5 mins walk from Metro station. They have a happy hour menu 5-7! Outdoor seating looked good for when the weather warms up, will be back!
