Located on 12th Street, San Antonio Bar & Grill DC offers authentic Mexican food with a welcoming atmosphere and great service. The chips and salsa keep coming, and the portions are good. Popular menu items include the chicken chimichanga, Nachos, Seafood Chimichanga, and Cajun Seafood Pasta. The steak is good, especially with the cream sauce that elevates the steak and veggies. Happy Hour margaritas are really good, and the virgin strawberry daquiri is also available. The vibe is great, with friendly service from entrance to exit. While the lighting can be a bit dim, the cuisine is superb, prepared fresh, and served promptly. A must stop when in the area.
