Safeway should have more than 1 person working at their pharmacies! There was only 1 pharmacist working by herself at the L St DC location, and she had to do it all - prescription drop off and pick up as well as checkin in and administer all the Covid vaccines! Needless to say it was a long wait! Safeway give your poor pharmacist some help!

Starbucks Coffee Company offers good food and drinks, with the coffee made quick and the staff described as fantastic and friendly. The service is great, and one specific drink was spot on. A breakfast sandwich was a little burnt around the edges but was just as delicious. However, one barista did not act well in a work environment, using words that should not be used and having trouble taking orders. The location is inside Safeway, so the atmosphere and convenience to dine in are not the best. The store is in an interesting neighborhood with urban renewal and redevelopment. Customers can only order large size drinks, which is not the staff’s fault but Starbucks corporate. Everything was clean.
