A small and cramped coffee shop on the outskirts of Washington D.C.I ordered a "scone", a chocolate croissant and a hibiscus tea on ice.Everything was very tasty and real, very German-looking bread + bagels would have been available.Unfortunately it was too narrow and uncomfortable to sit inside, but the terrace looked very inviting on a sunny day.The service charge is an outrage and an indictment of the tipping culture in the USA. Excellent bread and delicious sandwiches. If you like your bread crusty on the outside and delicious and perfect on the inside, you'll like Bread Furst. Their Italian vegetable sandwich is perfect. Roasted eggplant and red pepper. Broccoli rabe. Sharp provolone and balsamic. Just awesome.
