We came to Sweet Home Cafe with high expectations because of all the hype, and unfortunately, we left disappointed. We literally saved our appetites thinking we were about to EAT… and that was our first mistake.

It's average for soul food...but I can't complain. Great environment and people.
We came here on 8/21/26 First time here so I can assume that they rotate their menu every day. It is one meet with two sides and on this particular day we had fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I added potato salad. My friend got bread pudding and pecan pie. We added drinks. This place is very overpriced and the food was just OK for both meals. I paid $91. I will not eat here again, but I will not discourage anyone from trying it
