So many great options. Loved the curry and there's no fish sauce. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-22

To the owner of this restaurant: (you can take a look at the cctv today)
I was not happy with my visit today.
First off, we came at 6:58-7:00pm, and saw a waitress was sweeping the floor, so we asked to see what time they close. She said 8:30, I guess it’s the time that kitchen closes, because my boyfriend saw the sign they close at 9pm, right after I asked her. Everything was fine, she sat us down at the table and as soon as I sat down, I noticed she was wearing gloves, fine, she was sweeping the floor, but tell me how she can use that same gloves on to bring out two menu, drinks, and two plates and place on our table.

At that point I got upset already, but didn’t say anything to her. She took my order using the tablet and yes, the same gloves still on. The reason I know that were the same gloves because I sat there and watched her moves, to see if she ever change it. No she didn’t.

Next thing she did after taking my order was continue cleaning up the table, using the cloth to wipe, sweeping again, and moping the floor. Great. Customers were still in there half of the place and she cleaned up already. I mean I really felt like they about to close and rush us out.

And yup. She did exactly what I thought. She brought our appetizer out, with that same gloves, didn’t change. I got so pissed so I decided to tell the other waitress that I would like her to bring food for us.

The whole time, she touched everything from table to ground and food. I don’t get it. She needs to be trained again, please learn how to use gloves the right way and don’t bring food with dirty gloves.

At the end, she took off her gloves, she continued cleaning up using that dirty cloth, when she brought us togo boxes, she even sticked her thumb in there, so I didn’t use that box. I’m so disappointed.

I want to personally thank the wonderful staff at this restaurant! I was quite ill and not only to take give me medicine with. They drove me to the store so that I could get medicine and clean up. The kindness was incredible and I actually cried because of that kindness.. I can’t wait to get back to DC to show them how much I appreciate everything they did! I will always remember what you did. Thank you so much!

I ordered pad Thais with beef and it severely lacked flavor. The calamari came out 3 minutes after ordering it, didn’t seem fresh at all. Probably came out of a box and straight into the fryer. Someone else in my party had the crispy chicken which was crispy but the sauce again had no flavor. The pad vegetable another party member had was average also. Very average meal experience overall maybe just a bad day

Good selection of boba teas, variety of flavors and those glass bubble pop sodas. Child-friendly, delicious food, big enough menu and will definitely come back! Nearby street parking and garage parking.

I turned away from eating here because there were roaches crawling on the front counter when I was waiting to pick up my food. Hopefully this establishment can exterminate in the near future.

I visited DC for a conference and decided to try TipThai because of the positive reviews and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the Crispy duck kaprao and Thai dumplings to go, and they were both so flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend the crispy duck! I forgot to include utensils in my to go order and so thankful the person who put together my order included a fork. Thank you!

Fast food, friendly service, clean dining area and restroom. It’s a nice place to take some rest while visiting the national mall.

Although not listed as vegan, almost all entree items can be made vegan with tofu. The staff is knowledgeable about veganism. The spicy drunken noodles were delicious.

We got to the restaurant after a visit at the museum.
The food was tasty had a thai vibe to it.
The dishes weren't large
And I think it was pretty expensive for what we ate.
For instance
....Pad thai 18 dollars
Maby it is expensive because of the location .
The stuff is nice good service
The service is 20 precnts included in the check..
