Love the store. Glad it is in the neighborhood. Just went to the Grand Opening. Love that they are offering free coffee. The food is excellent.
It was a short walk here from our hotel. Sadly, not the same standards Wawa had for service and food from it's early days. Store was busy and I saw one person hustling in the deli and one cashier. I also dislike the self checkouts and waited a minute for the cashier to help someone at the self checkout. Food was good, but sloppily made. The store was clean and organized. I was really surprised by my recent stop at the Thomas Circle Wawa. After picking up my items and getting to the register, I was informed that they don't allow public access to their restrooms and apparently haven't since COVID. It’s frustrating to find this out only after you’re ready to pay. Wawa is usually a reliable, convenient stop, so not having basic facilities available for paying customers is a big letdown.
