Zion Kitchen DC Reviews
It’s SO HARD to find African cuisine the food MIGHT taste great depending on what day and time you come in but the customer service is always bad. The portion size for the amount is ridiculous. I’ve learned to make it myself at this point and I’m pleased with my own cooking. More palm oil than egusi smh
Carry out is fantastic! The food is really good. I suggest going early for the freshest.
Always a lovely experience, keep up the good wok.

Zion Kitchen DC offers good Nigerian food with a variety of tasty dishes and snacks. Customers often praise the delicious soup, meat, fish, plantain, and the Nigerian Jollof rice, which they find highly enjoyable and reminiscent of home. The moimoi is especially loved, considered the best since arriving in America, and remains fresh and flavorful even after being stored in the fridge. The food is generally praised for its quality and flavor, making it a go-to place for many who seek authentic tastes. The staff are courteous and respectful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes customers feel at home. The restaurant provides both dine-in and takeout options, with free but limited parking available. While prices are noted as a little high, many feel the quality of the food makes it worth it. The place has potential and could improve with more lighting, but overall, it is appreciated for its good food and friendly service. Visitors often find Zion Kitchen DC a reliable spot to enjoy Nigerian cuisine and pastries like fish roll and meat pie.
