While the daily specials offer fantastic value, the entire menu is a bargain. This isn't a high-end craft restaurant with pricing to match, but if you're searching for a new and reliable place to eat that has that neighborhood feel without your wallet crying, I encourage you to try it and form your own opinion. “Been here twice. This time I ordered a variety of tacos, including steak, chicken, shredded beef, and marinated pork. Each taco had a great portion, full of flavors, and the price was so good. I love shredded pork and chicken, while my friend loves steak. We also ordered a steak burrito that tasted good as well. Staff members didn't speak much English, but it wasn’t a problem at all. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Expect to wait 10-15 minutes during busy hours. This store is such a local gem.”

“Good , but recently I saw a team member bringing a fork to a customer , but n his way he dropped the fork ,pick it up and gave it to the customer.(cross contamination) A manager was behind him but i don’t think he was aware of it . Excellent service fast and nice people ,quiality is good 👍”

“It's just another 5 guys. Nothing special, if anything, it's a buit of a pain getting in and out of the parking lot because Chick-fil-A across the way is always packed and always blocking traffic in and out the parking lot. It's nice this location has mobile ordering and is usually ready in 10 mins or so so you can spend as little time there before traffic gets crazy.”

“I like the food especially shrimp w broccoli or chicken w broccoli , I love egg fu young but I haven’t found any local restaurants that are great at making it but Szechuan Hot Wok makes theirs good enough for me to order over and over. It’s Tuesday and I’d like Chinese for dinner but they’re closed, idk why but I usually crave Chinese food on Tuesday and several local restaurants are closed.”

“It's my favorite restaurant in all of Delaware. Yes, I know it's a food chain, but guess what. My meal here, no matter what I get, is always cooked to perfection, and so is my service now matter what time of day. I spend good money I here and I love how the service doesn't change whoever is on shift. And that is what matters most. Thank you”

“I had the best experience at the Hibachi in Bear last night. It was my first time there and I will definitely be going back. The food was amazing. The server Jess was more than helpful and made sure that our order was correct and she made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot say enough about the experience and service. I really enjoyed the whole dinner.”

“Very tasty food, very authentic cuisine, and a very authentic interior designed with hot pink walls, embedded sombrero decor, Spanish artwork, and Spanish music always playing. It’s refreshing to see an authentic Spanish place in such a small area and so close to my location. Also, they prepare fresh juices such as watermelon juice, cantaloupe juice, horchata, and more!”

Huge food very yummy. Fast service eating in the restaurant. Can sit many there. Food was hot and dipping sauce where great. Fun using chopsticks but can ask for fork if need . I had chicken and fried rice and vegetables and dumplings pork and my friend how noodles said that it was great. Wings was crispy. Can soda or bottle water and few others drinks in bottles I didn't know what they was. Portions was able to feed up to at less 3 people on the plates served. Has tables and booths. But parking is hard to get in front of mom kitchen but parking across in parking lot.

Hi I wanted to edit my opinions on Mom's kitchen today is November 17 , 2025 . I & my friend went back there today the food came out cold and had to be reserved and my friend food noodles wasn't eatable.when we ask if we could get something else the front cashier woman keeps saying she take it back refried the rice still came back no tastes and taste greasy and the spring rolls was burn and the dumplings was smaller portions. Then ask if we could take off my friends meal because he's wasn't able to even eat it . Plus on top of that the chef and the cashier woman was very loud arguing over how the food was to be made . The check came out to be $45 and then paid still and after had to go elsewhere to eat because we where starving and end up at a better restaurant miles down the road. Shame on customers service miss opportunity to make things better. Better not ask for a cola because they had was zero sugar or sprite or orange or tea . Mini cans to drink . The portions was so cut down from last time wow . Last a customer for life . The chicken was boiled the life out of it and was tasteless. The problem I see they where dead no reason to not be able have a great service. They have older children high chairs from McDonald's from the late 90's. One restroom for all guest feels like a closet. Trouble understanding English I know they are Chinese but come on . Please listen for us to be able place a ordered so as we set down means we eat there before. Bad moved on them.”

“Tried this place for the first time after being around the area for a while. Ordered the following:

1. Chicken pho, the broth was great especially with all the fixins!
2. Chicken Banh-mi, very flavorful and great deal!
3. Spring roll with tofu & vermicelli noodles, by themselves not very flavorful, but with the sauce, they were good!
4. Baby shrimp rolls, very good.

Will definitely give it another shot!”

“This was my first time ordering from them and I will continue to do so. Their prices are reasonable, the food is fresh and the place is clean. This restaurant is out of my way and completely opposite to where I live but it’s worth the drive. I haven’t enjoyed hot and sour soup like that in years and the chicken with mushrooms was delicious. There was a lot of huge, tender pieces of chicken, the vegetables were cooked perfectly. My husband really enjoyed his chicken with broccoli as well.”
