“Now this is my second time eating from this place this week so that should say something. I had the Oxtails which were very nice and tender. Today i ordered brown stew chicken and jerk wings…both were delicious. This is the only place in Bear that I know and have only ordered from and will continue to order.“

“My wife and I had our first visit here and it was a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere was great. The service was very good. The firecracker shrimp appetizer was very good. My wife had a burger that was well cooked and delicious. I had a seafood dish that was a tad overpriced but the meal itself was excellent. I would definitely recommend this establishment to go to.“

“My family and I stopped in here randomly by chance on a long road trip. I really like j*** food so this was an easy choice.Well, we were all super impressed with the whole experience. After talking for a bit with the very friendly owner, the 9 of us got a variety of menu items and they were all fantastic and really well executed. I had a jerked half chicken with some rice and peas, and green beans. The flavor was great with a nice, complex spice rub with some smokiness. Fall apart tender. The rest of my party raved about the ribs, pulled pork and tacos. We are so glad we happened to find this place!PS the Scotch Bonnet Aioli has a decent kick but is super delicious!“

“I’ve been here a couple times, and have always had a great meal. I got a $15 Sunday special - half a jerk chicken, a roll, and two sides (collard greens w brisket and hush puppies)
Everything was fantastic. Their brisket and pulled pork is also great.
Highly recommend the place if you want some good jerk / bbq in Wilmington.“

“Picked up ox tail and jerk chicken today. It was ready within a few minutes of me calling it in. Staff were super friendly, food was fantastic and price was very reasonable! I ordered larges and felt that the serving was very generous. Dropped off jerk chicken at my husband's job as a surprise treat for him, he loved it as well. Ox tail was so good I ate the entire large container in one sitting! Highly recommended this place and will most certainly be back!“
