“Checked this place out Thursday afternoon for lunch I ordered oxtail and my friend ordered Stew chicken both were good and I also ordered a side of Jerk chicken to go chicken was good as well I just didn’t like that they don’t put the jerk sauce on chicken or offer it on the side but other than that I have no complaints“

“I absolutely love this place. The food is good, once you figure out what you want from so so many choices. And the desserts, wow, hopefully it's your cheat day, between the toppings for the waffles or funnel cakes, ice cream, water ice. And the best part is it's very affordable. Eat inside or outside. Plus there is an electronic store when you walk in. Definitely not a bad place, especially being in Camden. Go check it out for yourself and see.“

“Flew Up from down south and was told I have to try this little gem in the city. I most definitely was not disappointed . The food was amazing the owners so heartwarming and kind I had curry chicken, White rice, macaroni and cheese And the candy Yams Which were perfectly cooked and tasty. My cousin ordered the chicken soup, which was such a wonderful sharing..I am back down south and I am dreaming about the food… currently looking up a flight so I can have some more.“

“We will very much miss this restaurant when the entire chain closes at the beginning of April. My wife and I, as well as our friends, have enjoyed the food since the Cherry Hill restaurant first opened so many years ago. Closing the chain doesn't make sense. This place is always popular, especially at dinner time and new menu items are introduced each season. Caribbean themed restaurants are not plentiful, unlike the dozens of steak house and sports bar restaurants in the Darden's (the parent company) restaurant portfolio. I would love to reach out and shake some sense into the idiot that made the decision to close the chain, because clearly this person has no sense and or even cares. Our condolences to all the serving, cooking, and back of house staff. Good luck in your future endeavors and thanks for your years of service and great food.“

I've never had Caribbean food before, and when I asked for recommendations everyone (staff and customers) was so kind and gave me lots of good suggestions. I wasn't disappointed by anything I ordered. The chicken stew platter was easily my favorite dish but the chicken roti and potato roti were delicious as well. Someone recommended a coconut bake with the platter and that made the whole meal even better. I also tried the currant roll and bread pudding which satisfied my craving for a dessert. Tender, saucy oxtails over herby rice and peas, curry goat that warms you all the way down, balanced jerk with just the right spice, and to make it an even easier pitch: helpings so large they could kill a man. Cash only, so make sure you've got some, and banter with the guys through the grate window while you're waiting - they're awfully funny.“

“I love this place. If you are ever in philly you must try this Ghanian spot! If you like spicy this is the place. If you like rice get the jollof! My favorite is light soup with fufu. The peanut litter soup is bomb! Matter fact just eat everything. Only come if you have time to enjoy. Service is not typical of most American dinner time standards. Call ahead to ensure they are open that weekend! I wish they delivered via an app. But still worth going for the experience.“

I went to this Jamaican restaurant for lunch and I ordered macaroni and cheese and corn bread and I noticed they had oxtail on their menu and I told they lady who worked there that I never had oxtail and I was told by my family and friends that oxtail is so good so the the lady asked if I wanted to order a platter I said no because I already brought fried chicken and I just want the Mac and cheese and corn bread to eat with my chicken so she was kind enough to ask me if I wanted to sample the oxtail and I said yes she then hand me a small cup with oxtail and gravy. OMG that oxtail was tender and falling off the bone. It tasted like beef stew and the gravy was AWESOME so awesome that I was licking the gravy off my fingers. I will definitely be ordering a oxtail platter from this restaurant in the near future. 😋“

“Well, this place is not extravagant is not fancy BUT it carries so much flavor. We bought the jerk chicken, it you cant handle spicy food( like me), grab your cup of milk. We wasn't expecting the level of spiciness but it was good punch. My favorite items was the oxtail, flavorful, falling of the bone, juicy, well seasoned. The rice had a sweetness that I couldn't identify but it was a good balance for the spicy chicken. Parking is awful. Is very close to an intersection and difficult to find a spot. So go with someone that can drive around if you are picking up. Customer service was just OK. Definitely going back for that oxtail.“
