“What’s up guys! Real quick I don’t know if this place was closed and now reopened but let me tell you thank god they’re open. I was running out of options around these parts for my lunch options. So glad I stopped by and picked me up some rice and peas with pepper steak ?. Staff was friendly and straight to business got me in and out in like 4 min food amazing steak was tender and the spices were all in the right places. Will definitely be back for some Mac and cheese ?.“
“I finally visited this restaurant and I'm ashamed to say it took so long. It was a great time of day because it wasn't busy. There was plenty of seats available, I didn't wait to be helped, and everything was in stock! All menu items, refreshments, and desserts! This sounds weird but it isn't uncommon for Jamaican restaurants to run out of some food item.Value: I ordered a small plate of Jerk Chicken. It came with a choice of white rice or rice & peas and cabbage. I also had a choice of plantain or yams/sweet potatoes. This is a great value because it's common for you to only get a choice of rice and 1 additional side item. Additionally, I purchased a Ginger Beer and a slice of Carrot Cake.Taste: The rice and peas were good. They had a traditional Jamaican taste that was dryer and the way I like it. The jerk chicken was mild and had a BBQ-like taste. It didn't taste like traditional Jerk to me but was well flavored. The portions are generous so you will be full before you finish it.The Ginger Beer was a classic bottled beverage. The taste was consistent. Nothing really to report. The carrot cake was the overall winner! WOW! Perfectly flavored, not too heavy, and the a good price for the portion. I highly recommend you try this if you like carrot cake. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Please look for my review update in the next 3 months.“

“The impeccable customer service.Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal, making us feel like valued guests. The menu showcased a thoughtful selection of dishes, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. The attention to detail, both in presentation and taste, reflected a commitment to culinary excellence.“
“The food here is phenomenal! The jerk chicken is perfectly seasoned, just enough spice with a sort of sweet flavor. The portions are generous. I used to go to the jamican spot in Elsmere, across from the VA hospital, this place beats it by a long shot. Oh I just remembered the cabbage is delicious, full of flavor. Please try this Mom and Pop Jamican spot, you won't be disappointed. I'm originally from Philly and it has Philly spots beat, and that is saying something!“
“Picked up ox tail and jerk chicken today. It was ready within a few minutes of me calling it in. Staff were super friendly, food was fantastic and price was very reasonable! I ordered larges and felt that the serving was very generous. Dropped off jerk chicken at my husband's job as a surprise treat for him, he loved it as well. Ox tail was so good I ate the entire large container in one sitting! Highly recommended this place and will most certainly be back!“
“It is one of the greatest Latino restaurants, if not the best, in Wilmington. Super cool staff, and awesome service. It has become a family favorite for great food, drinks, security ...and while we have not visited their dance room ...its vibe and music selection ...entertains us while we eat. I can't wait to go again!“
“It was so awesome I had a video chat date with my husband while I was there their pineapple drink is amazing it is inside of a pineapple and it looks like something out of an island in the Bahamas which I've never been but still an awesome place I would recommend 10 out of 10. And if ever I come back to Delaware I will come and try more things on the menu I had the crab dip it was amazing“
“I enjoyed my short time at Nicely's. I was there for a quick and affordable lunch special. I ordered rice and peas w/ox tail gravy, plantains, and cabbage. I'm trying to refrain from meat this month but I couldn't resist the gravy. I also order a hot and delicious coco-bread without the patties. The service was fast and convenient and paperless. You can definitely grab a bite to eat on your lunch break and not spend hours waiting for your food.“
“I had the pleasure of meeting the Proprietor who is a Sweetheart. Not only was she kind, but Mother KNOWS how to put that love in her food! It was pure deliciousness! I will be making my third trip this week this afternoon. PLEASE support this business. You won't regret it.“
