“So there I was, on my way back from Ocean City passing an intersection that had such a STRONG and BEAUTIFUL Smokey aroma that I had to stop at this little operation by the side of the road. I was expecting the chicken to be decent, but it was STELLAR, and would give every place near me a run for their money. I say this only because my hometown has amazing Peruvian Charcoal chicken everywhere, but this one was so unique and seasoned PERFECTLY. And the vinegar- based dipping sauce was the perfect compliment. It was cheap, 10 bucks for a whole bird, cash operation. My only complaint is that I wish they were closer to me. The guys cooking were super friendly and said they try to keep the coals and chicken cooking as late as they can so people driving by will stop (just like me). The people taking the money at the register were super friendly and helpful. 11/10 will be back. and every time go to OC I’m stopping cause this place is UH-MAZING!!!“

I believe the hours are 8 am until they are sold out - usually 1 or 2 pm. The fire department itself, like nearly all fire departments in Delaware, is a volunteer organization. Our fine people serve the community, protecting the town and outlying areas of Greenwood Delaware.“

“I was just there last night for Dinner with my Father, for a delayed Father's Day Dinner. While there we saw someone that we agree was Gorgeous; well, that was his term, but she was beautiful and out of place working there. She was the/a Hostess 6/19/25 sometime between 3:30p-4:30p. I wanted to talk to her, but the opportunity wasn't there. I can't forget to mention our Waitress though, she was a pleasure and made the experience an excellent one.
