“Boggles my mind that a place like this can run out of straws. But the fact that my order was correct and the female who was at the register is very nice, that all made up for the inventory issue. There is a bit of a wait here, but I always said, if my order comes out right... take your time. I got the TacoBell nuggets before they discontinued them... yah, they should just keep with taco stuff. The size of these things are big for a nugget. It's more like a short and fat chicken tender.
Also, props to KFC. I really think this is cheaper than Mcds at this point 🤔“

Started with the traditional guacomole made table side accompanied by a delicious margarita. Loved this dish! Tried the Dip Sampler with the warm chips ~ another pleasant surprise with so many flavors. Carnitas tacos were made with fresh ingredients and selected the flour tortilla instead of the corn tortilla. So good!! Mexican corn was ok. I will go back; frankly, can't wait to go back!“

They don’t skimp, everything seemed completely fresh, and the service was top notch. They have a ton of options in terms of meats, fillers and toppings, and sauces too.“

“The food is amazing. I normally order for a business meeting or myself at times, and it is really good. The quality of the food is great, and there's a lot of food, which is a plus. We love it. I can not rate on the atmosphere or in-person service because we have not been in person, but overall, this is a 5-star experience for our business.“

“Been going here for well over 5 years. Since about 2019. The service is always A1, the food is the bomb diggity and the prices are always reasonable. Whether you get take or dine in (do dine in the atmosphere and everything is worth it) you will have a great experience overall. The tacos are sooooo good they never missed, ever! “We randomly stopped at the New Castle Farmers Market on a drive elsewhere and randomly happened upon Los Jarritos and thought it was some of the best authentic Mexican we’ve had on the east coast (don’t you love it when that happens?).

We split a burrito with pork and green sauce and a chicken tamal. The burrito was better than the tamal but we still thoroughly enjoyed both.

The pork in the burrito was exceptional - and the red and green hot sauces were an ideal complement.

Chips and salsa were also delicious - can’t tell if they were included or not but our total bill including a Mexican coke was less than $16.

Stopping at this flea market felt like a portal to another world for us out-of-towners, but we enjoyed the experience and would happily go back to Los Jarritos.“

Be advised, with your food being prepared fresh to order, you will have a wait. My next time, I called ahead and my food was ready at pickup. “Looks like they are under new management and are now called Aurora's as of July 2025. Haven't tried the food yet but I came inside to say hello to the new owners and they were super nice. Bought a Jarritos and a La Guerrense ice cream bar. 10/10 siempre. Looking forward to many more great conversations and great meals!“
