When I googled fried fish this restaurant came up and it did not disappoint. Kiana worked the front and she was pleasant and answered questions very nicely. You can smell the food before entering the door and it smelled like home. The portions were excellent for the price and the food outstanding. Thank you for a real soul food restaurant in DE. I am not from the area, 30 minutes away but it will be worth the drive. I found the right place at the right time. God bless your business!!
Great fries with a crunchy coating. Catfish was perfectly cooked, with a thin cornmeal coating having just the right amount of crispiness. Nice sauce for the fish. Fried chicken was crunchy and tasty with a great spicy-sweet sauce; chicken didn’t have a puddle of oil under it, so kudos for draining it well out of the fryer. Collards were ok, but had too much smoke flavoring ( liquid smoke?)—prefer a more mild smoky taste from cooking it with smoked meat. Super nice folks dishing...read full review

Very clean, professional, delicious, we walked to the restaurant for take out the dinner was still perfectly hot when we got home. Highly recommend all sides and the fried chicken.
