“A few friends and I visit Throwbacks Sports Lounge every couple of months due to it's location central to where we all live as we have traditionally found the selection of beers to be not only exceptional, but also diverse and ever changing. Tonight I am wring this review to also comment on the exceptional service we received from the bartender who identified herself as "Smalls". She was personable, energetic, sarcastic, and just all around fun. This is not only a great establishment given their welcoming of outside food (easy walking distance to 2 Fast Guys), but an all around great place to stop into whenever you get a chance. I'd highly recommend this as a place to pop into when you happen to be in the area or to make yourself a REGULAR at if you happen to be in the right proximity.“

“Great customer service from everyone despite the rudeness of other customers! To start, the manager was very friendly and attentive. Gemini, our server, was great! She came around multiple times making sure we didn’t need anything and chatted a little. She was very pleasant and since one of us ordered an all you can eat plate, she made sure the food didn’t stop (the manager even put one order in for us). It was a real all you can eat meal, that’s something most places don’t actually stand by! I am Beyond happy with today’s visit and super impressed by the customer service! “It’s the night before Christmas. My family just went through a traumatic experience and had enough. My husband and I searched everywhere for a bar. This bar was the only bar open for miles. The bar tender was very friendly. Served me a double of what I needed to forget my troubles. They don’t serve food though. But that’s ok.“

“Love a place that doesn’t close at 10 and serves food late, AND good food at that! I ordered the Philly Steak and enjoyed it a lot. The roll was amazingly soft and fresh. The meat was chopped good and flavored well and it all came together deliciously. I would have enjoyed a tad more meat but there was enough that I’d didn’t make me put it all into one half. 8/10. Id surely go back. Only thing I’d suggest is a better IPA on tap such as Fiddlehead.“

“Our first visit will def be back!!! Chilli was amazing. I asked for something not on the menu a Turkey Special. They had a CornBeef special on the menu. It was the most delicious Turkey special ever. The coleslaw was amazing, the turkey was fresh Turkey ,the bread so fresh !!!! Our waitress was so sweet and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back !!!“

“Many thanks to the staff at Churchman's Rd Newark DE Applebee's. I spoke to Garrett to make arrangements for a birthday celebration there. He was so wonderful and pleasant to speak to and so accommodating. Our waitress Crystal H was wonderful too. She gave such great service, even helping us to decorate the tables. I didn't expect her to do that but that was so nice of her. The food was great and prices reasonable. The staff there all seemed so friendly. Again many thanks. “I've been here about three times. I tried the smash burger, and while it's got great flavor, it's a bit on the small side. I also tried the roast beef sandwich with au jus, but I wasn’t a huge fan—it was just okay. One thing I do love is the free popcorn you can help yourself to, and the vibe is really nice. The only downside is the small drink sizes—lots of ice but not much soda. Overall, it’s a solid place, and I’ll definitely be back.“

“Big shoutout to Giordano’s!! My husband and I had a small courthouse wedding and had about 15 people come to dinner afterwards in one of the private rooms. We were promptly greeted and the manager came in to greet us as well and gave my 2 year old nephew a giant cookie to keep him occupied while we got settled in. All of the staff was very helpful and attentive. They made sure to meet all of our needs and double check that there was no alcohol in one of the entrees sauces and even had it remade to make sure for us. The bartender came over and helped us wrap up our leftover cake so we could save it for our one year anniversary as well. All around a wonderful experience. I haven’t been since before renovations when I worked there and was impressed with all of the updates. It is more modern but still comfortable and the food is absolutely wonderful! As a large group, we ordered quite the variety of entree’s and they were all wonderful! Thank you Gios for a wonderful day my husband and I will never forget!“

Mike also recommended some great places to see while we were in the region, since we were visiting for a double relative’s funeral. “I'm on vacation from Canada and went out last night with my cousin and ended up at this place. This is not somewhere.I would normally go but when in Rome.... That was open that late and our server I believe her name is Katie Was the best waitress I have ever had in my entire life The blender was down and we couldn’t get our shark bowls, but she gave us recommendations that were equally just as amazing. And every time I go to Applebee’s, I always get the balsamic strawberry salad And it may have been the best one I’ve ever gotten from any Applebee’s Katie If you see this, you are awesome and we loved you (From the couple sitting in the corner that loves gummy sharks)“

“Mandy was phenomenal! I had an issue with an online order, i called and she went out of her way to make sure the order was perfect (she even called me back afterwards to confirm). Hard to find customer service like this nowadays.
