“Excellent pizza! Didn't want to judge too quickly so decided to wait until we ordered again. This time, it was just as good and the service was just as helpful and friendly. I am gluten free, (not celiac) so we gave theirs a shot along with the regular ones we ordered. All I can say is WOW! I have tried so many places in the area hoping to find a GF crust that resembles 'real' pizza, and Stone Mill has figured it out! I asked if it was cauliflower crust or a blend, and the person answering the phone happily gave us the ingredients of what it is made from, without sounding annoyed at the time it took to explain. The crust is great, not pre-made and thankfully not cauliflower. It's not paper thin and came out well done with that charred look and wood fire taste like original crust has. But most importantly, it was delicious. It's not a tiny little 10" crust, or a personal size - it's the same size as all the others. (I was so excited when I saw it I dove right in without taking a picture!) The whole experience, from the politeness when ordering on the phone, to the finished products were great. It's amazing how many places make it sound like they are doing you the favor when they take an order. Great pizza and great service. This is the only place we will order from going forward.”

“The food was decent , but nothing out of the world. We ordered nachos which were good. Chicken tacos which were average. Pasta was actually tasteless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it better. The warm pretzels were really good.”

“The Back Burner has a gem in Patty. The food is always dependable, and the wine list is surprisingly reasonable for some good quality wines. I think all of these things contribute to the restaurant's staying power in Hockessin.”

“Great pizza with eggplant! As I was leaving I saw a display of arancini (rice balls filled with meat and cheese) which I added to my order. They were excellent, highly recommend them! I will ask Luigi to make a few more of these!!”

“This restaurant used to have dine-in seating, but no longer. The tables are all used for storage. So it's a little dumpy looking when you enter. It's now pretty much just take-out. So that's how I'm judging it. As far as the food goes, it's decent for a take-out place. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but that's OK. Sometimes you just want some basic noodles or fried rice, and this place does that well. Prices are reasonable and flavors are good. This is an authentic Chinese place, unlike some other places around here that pose as Chinese food.”

“2FG knocked it out of the park for our daughter's wedding! Jeff made the planning phase and menu selection easy, he took the time to make a visit required to the venue, and made sure all of our guests had a great dinner within our budget. There was something for everyone to enjoy. Our guests especially raved about the brisket! We will absolutely use them again for future events 🌟”

“A few friends and I visit Throwbacks Sports Lounge every couple of months due to it's location central to where we all live as we have traditionally found the selection of beers to be not only exceptional, but also diverse and ever changing. Tonight I am wring this review to also comment on the exceptional service we received from the bartender who identified herself as "Smalls". She was personable, energetic, sarcastic, and just all around fun. This is not only a great establishment given their welcoming of outside food (easy walking distance to 2 Fast Guys), but an all around great place to stop into whenever you get a chance. I'd highly recommend this as a place to pop into when you happen to be in the area or to make yourself a REGULAR at if you happen to be in the right proximity.”

“My husband and I ate here for the first time on Saturday and everything was such a great experience. Our waitress Crystal was very pleasant and attended to our needs the entire time we were there. The drinks she made us were delicious and probably the best pina colada and frozen raspberry margarita we ever had. We will definitely be going back.”
