“Overall the food was good and waitress was very nice.

The spice level with their dishes seem to be on the lower end so medium was fairly mellow and mild had the slightest hint of spice. You can taste the actual seasoning of the food through the spice so that’s always nice and it doesn’t have that overpowering burn sensation spicy food can sometimes give.

Starting with favorites..The eggplant dish (baingan bhartha)- It was creamy but still felt light and had such a nice flavor profile. Another favorite was shrimp tawa. It also had a light feel to it and the sauce was perfect to top with rice. The shrimp were fresh and cooked to perfection.

The gobi Manchurian was good but not the best i’ve had. They gave you a lot but the sauce was a little clumpy and the breading on the cauliflower was a little mushy while still being crispy. But the flavor was there. The curry paneer was average. Nothing special to note.

I’m not sure what happened with the shrimp tandoori but it was not good. (They did take it off our bill which we were not expecting so that was very much appreciated) The first piece of shrimp I took was undercooked and the next one was mushy and somehow rubbery. It also had zero flavor except for the slight char taste from however it was cooked. After that the dish was left untouched.

If I’m in the area I’ll for sure go back and try other dishes. They have a nice size menu so there are plenty of options to try.“

“Ordered takeout. Salmon Milano and Chicken Marsala.
Salmon was very good nice flavor cooked to perfection n the creamy Alfredo sauce was so creamy n seasoned just right.
Chicken Marsala was also delish. Chicken was moist n tender n the marsala sauce was great lots of mushrooms. Garlic knots added the perfect addition to these dinners. Best part is we have enough for lunch tomorrow. Good to know you can still get a great meal to go.“

“We had a group of 20 men for our monthly luncheon and everything was fantastic. The servers took our orders efficiently and made sure we were well taken care of and they even came around with drink refills. The food was hot when it came out and delicious. “We order romas weekly since moving to middletown 4 years ago. We have tried every place multiple times. We are a pizza family. No other local establishment matches the taste. Its the best tasting pie in MOT. the appearance sometimes leaves a lot to be desired and ab half the time i get it the cheese is all moved to one side lol, but the taste is still there.“

“We went to the Frightland Halloween event and stayed until 12:30 AM. Everyone was tired and hungry, so I found a nearby spot and ordered a thin-crust vegetable pizza and a regular chicken pizza. Both were delicious, and the staff was great.“

“I'd like to take a minute to leave a very positive review of my recent experience at Capriotti's in Middletown, DE. I have been a Capriotti's customer long before the Middletown store opened over 20 years ago. When the Middletown store opened, the sandwiches were amazing. Everything was on par with every other location I had ever eaten at in Delaware. It's no secret that this location had gone downhill very fast when it's franchise was purchased back from corporate. The meat on the sandwiches were almost cut in half, lacked flavor, and prices increased. Although I communicated my complete dissatisfaction, wrote the company, filled out surveys from receipts - it fell on deaf ears. We went from eating there 3 to 4 times a week, to barely ever at all... There are now many more options in Middletown for a good sandwich, and Capriotti's basically failed to keep up. Although we would randomly try a sub or cheesesteak from this location occasionally, the result was almost always a fail. It was apparent, that during our random attempts at a good sandwich, the subs and steaks were always better when the regional manager, Kari (not sure how she spells her name), was present. I had not eaten at this location for months, and out of the blue, I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did - my cheesesteak was amazing! Perfect ratio of meat to the roll, generous amount of fried onions, and full of flavor. Service was exceptional, and the place was clean. It may be a coincidence that the regional manager was there during my recent visit, but I will be returning more often to give it another try...“
