“We recently had dinner here. The food was excellent but the service was slow and we missed our usual server Murphy who was off. Murphy is awesome and her customer service is impeccable. The owner was gracious enough to reach out to me personally to explain that the oven was not working properly that evening. That was the reason for the long wait time for food. Everyone here generally cares about the customer and goes to great lengths to make sure you’re taken care of. Despite the oven setback the food was still good and the drinks as well.“

“Delicious food with great staff interactions. They are always patient and willing to explain or adapt the flavors. Group of four met for lunch and all had the new lunch sampler which gives you a chance to try several different options from the menu. And even though it says sampler, the food is more than plentiful. Price was very reasonable and our bill was higher only because we celebrate gathering with fancy drinks. We will always go back!“

Salmon was very good nice flavor cooked to perfection n the creamy Alfredo sauce was so creamy n seasoned just right.
Chicken Marsala was also delish. Chicken was moist n tender n the marsala sauce was great lots of mushrooms. Garlic knots added the perfect addition to these dinners. Best part is we have enough for lunch tomorrow. Good to know you can still get a great meal to go.“

The servers took our orders efficiently and made sure we were well taken care of and they even came around with drink refills. The food was hot when it came out and delicious. “We order romas weekly since moving to middletown 4 years ago. We have tried every place multiple times. We are a pizza family. No other local establishment matches the taste. Its the best tasting pie in MOT. the appearance sometimes leaves a lot to be desired and ab half the time i get it the cheese is all moved to one side lol, but the taste is still there.“

“I'd like to take a minute to leave a very positive review of my recent experience at Capriotti's in Middletown, DE. I have been a Capriotti's customer long before the Middletown store opened over 20 years ago. When the Middletown store opened, the sandwiches were amazing. Everything was on par with every other location I had ever eaten at in Delaware. It's no secret that this location had gone downhill very fast when it's franchise was purchased back from corporate. The meat on the sandwiches were almost cut in half, lacked flavor, and prices increased. Although I communicated my complete dissatisfaction, wrote the company, filled out surveys from receipts - it fell on deaf ears. We went from eating there 3 to 4 times a week, to barely ever at all... There are now many more options in Middletown for a good sandwich, and Capriotti's basically failed to keep up. Although we would randomly try a sub or cheesesteak from this location occasionally, the result was almost always a fail. It was apparent, that during our random attempts at a good sandwich, the subs and steaks were always better when the regional manager, Kari (not sure how she spells her name), was present. I had not eaten at this location for months, and out of the blue, I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did - my cheesesteak was amazing! Perfect ratio of meat to the roll, generous amount of fried onions, and full of flavor. Service was exceptional, and the place was clean. It may be a coincidence that the regional manager was there during my recent visit, but I will be returning more often to give it another try...“
