“For 2nd year in a row this was our go-to shop. Our group had to get 8 large subs made ASAP for an off shore fishing trip the next AM out of OCMD. All special requirements and of course required oils & such separated for travel. The nice patient lady who took the phone order even numbered them in numerical order (with marker) so everyone got what they wanted. Even a few cannolis to go. Great service & excellent food.“

Thoughts.... The pizza is quite good, not super consistent but quite good. Had one that was a bit light on sauce, one that was a bit under but overall quite good. Their calzone was slightly overdone and cut wrong. It wasn't a bad calzone would still rate it decent but like everything else in ocean city things are pricey.

Their orange crush drink is good and their pours are fairly heavy. Atmosphere on Saturday and Sunday was good and friendly. Off season weeknight it can be a bit of a locals in groups with the visitors alone.

This place is a late night pizza spot in season that becomes the neighborhood sports bar off season.“

“Just to begin the staff there are extremely friendly. Always show off the orders to me before I take it out to ensure it’s right. The owners are incredible. Super friendly and always going the extra mile to ensure that their regular local customers are taken well care of. I would not doubt for a second that they provide the same service to tourists who visit for vacation during the summer. They are just those kind of people and I hope for the to have continued success!“

“As always, Grotto's is a hit. I spotted a location I hadn't visited before and had to give it a shot. I just grabbed pizza and a drink at the bar, but the bartender was friendly, making sure I knew about their specials. The atmosphere was laid back.“

This location has an accessible parking lot. If you have a big group they are able to accommodate.

“We are regulars in Ocean City and this is our first time trying Grotto Pizza. First impression was very good. The food was good and the service was great. We got the Antipasta Salad, Bianca Pizza and Classic cheese pizza. The salad was a decent size! With lots of toppings. The pizza definitely good and different from other local shops. Prices are little high for the area, but it’s nice to have a pizza place with great eat in environment. Plenty of parking and seating inside. The inside was spotless and clean. We would definitely go again in the future.“

“My grandson 8 years old, was so excited to see a pizza place a short walk from our hotel. Since we were on vacation he had his favorite Pepperoni Pizza FOUR late nights in a row LOL. “4.7 rating? No way 5.0 all day, I feel it’s the best Subs around anywhere. I’ve had a lot of great subs, but DeVitos wins all day! The bread is the best, I feel it’s what makes it so good and the ingredients is all top notch and they don’t load it up, just the perfect amount. If you are ever so lucky to have a DeVito’s sub, then you will understand!“
