“I walked into a crowded short staff restaurant tonight and was treated like an old friend. Everyone was super friendly and it was fun to see the staff enjoying themselves despite being very busy. Food was great, ended up with a mixed sour and lager on the recommendation of the bartender that I really enjoyed. I’ll be back next time I am in town.“

“This place is a rare gem! I live in VA and visit family and friends in the coastal Delaware area often — despite not living in DE I had no issue finding Bella’s Cookies to pick up my order. For those of us who don’t have “ the world as our oyster”, so to speak, we do not mind taking the time to make an appointment to pick up special bakes that are as amazing as the cookies and cupcakes I picked up yesterday afternoon! I am not ashamed to say that most of these incredibly delicious treats did not survive our 2.5 hrs. drive back home — as I could not stop eating them while telling my spouse the entire drive home how amazing the cupcakes and cookies are…were! My spouse who has no special dietary restrictions, like myself, and is usually my “normal” blind taste tester also agreed and raved about how moist and delicious the cupcakes were, and the perfectly baked cookies (crisp on outside with a chewy-yumminess on the inside). I have finally found the one!! … not spouse, but bakery, Bella’s Cookies! Thank you so much Kelly Leishear for all your hard work, dedication, and passion while infusing your culinary artistic talents and perfecting the science of baking! I mean, WOW! Had I known the bakes were this delicious, I would have ordered more! “Yummy fresh ice cream from the creamery. Lines definitely get long at prime times but they hustle to get everything out quickly. They have a nice space for kids to play and some picnic tables.
