“When my company arrived from Kansas and Indiana in April, I took them to Crabby Dick's in Delaware City and they absolutely loved it! They especially enjoyed the crab cakes and Maryland Crab soup. I got my usual favorite, steamed clams! Our server's name was either Mattie or Maddie. Not sure of the spelling, but she was outstanding. We were there on April 22nd.“

“I went with my group on a Thursday which was a very light evening which allowed my group to enjoy our whole dining experience. Our server had time to explain the menu and make recommendation to our group that included a 4 year old. Why is this relevant? Because, she gave her the same respectful service as she did the adults. Thank you. Now let's get to the food. I had the Chicken Picatta. I had to take the picture because at the first bite I new it was about to be destroyed. I left nothing on the plate. The Impossible Sloppy for those who need a vegan option also got a thumbs up. The food comes out hot hot! No one complained! I will be back the next time I am in Delaware.“

I was able to get in at 3:30 but starting to fill up as I was leaving around 5pm on a Tuesday!... Definitely make a reservation for dinner! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. “I enjoyed the blue crabs I got from here. Upon ordering we were asked if we would like to add beer as an ingredient and we said yes. This gave the crabs more flavor and made them very juicy. They have a hot or mild seasoning to choose from. The hot is spicy so be careful. Adding butter garlic is an extra charge. We also tried the Cajun crab sliders. They were a bit too spicy for us, but tasted good. All forms of payment accepted.“

“The food at Hilltop Crab house is good and reasonably priced (everywhere prices have gone up ). Great amount of parking and a large drink and beer selection. I was a little disappointed that the menu on OpenTable is not the menu that they serve at hilltop crab House. Hilltop crab's house menu has a lot less option to choose from. We were told that a new menu will be coming out shortly. The service was good and food came out quickly.“

“Tried a Chinese authentic restaurant in Maryland where the have the hot pot tray with whole fish like sea bass and tilapia so I was looking for a Chinese Sichuan restaurant and I found this one; tried it, it wasn’t as great as the Maryland tea but came close, now it’s our to go since it’s closer than Maryland. Their skewers are great to the egg plant; will try other menu as well.“

“We decided to go to dinner at Firebirds. I had been once and was not impressed; however my husband had never been there. I have to say the food was good. Cooked exactly the way we wanted. The only draw back we had is the portions of food that you receive for the price that you pay. We felt like we were robbed. We don’t over eat so when I say we had small portions, we really had small portions. The dessert was even small portions for the price that you’re required to pay. The five very thin layers of lemon cake were good but the slice was very thin for $10.25. Out bill was $76.30 for two and I would have no problem if we had an appetizer and alcoholic drinks but there was none of that because we don’t drink. We each had a soda because the lemonade was too tart. The server was very pleasant and on time with everything. We tipped her well as we should have. Not sure I can return there. A little more light would be appreciated if I did return.“
