“Best brunch in Downey. You can not beat the quality of food here. Everything is always fresh and the service is amazing. We frequently eat brunch here on the weekends. It's a breath of fresh air to have food that isn't frozen and is prepared all in house.Kid-friendliness: Car seat slings are available. “I ordered the chicken fried steak and it tastes was savory,fresh and crispy. The gravy was smooth, creamy and not so salty. The service is very responsive and respectful however this place does get packed so expect a wait time. Ambiance feels like a hole in the wall type dinner as the location is in between many other shops in a shopping area. Well worth the wait.”

“As entreprenuers we travel the world and the unknown and get to have great experiences with people. Today we visited World Famous Grill in Downey and Hassan was the perfect gentleman. He helped us with a Kabob Combo Plate with hummus, rice salad and pita bread along with their famous Western Burger which was monstrous and delicious. Our daughter was also able to order chicken nuggets and fries as well. We appreciate these small businesses opposed to all the BIG corporations who usually say no to us asking for food. Starting from Shae the sweet waitress she was so kind and lovely and she spoiled us from the moment we entered the restaurant. Then the cook who’s the owner, they kept sending us samples from their home made savory food. Shae, we loved your attention we are coming back for sure many times! This was the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5.I ordered the lavender oat latte without sweet foam & the farmers market sandwich. The latte was the perfect sweetness & the sandwich had super fresh ingredients & warm focaccia.It was almost $50 for 2 lattes & 2 sandwiches but the ambiance was great. Very clean with lots of natural light & roomy tables. A great place to get some work done.”

“Grabbed a couple burgers to go. The burgers had a great char broiled flavor. I had the teriyaki burger. I was expecting it to be a traditional burger plus a grilled pineapple but instead it was a traditional burger with the choice of beef or chicken teriyaki added to it. It was very good. Fries were good, not too crisp but not quite mushy. Overall a great taste, good price, fast service. Worth all the good reviews.”

This place never disappoints, I love the food here. Everything will everything on my plate was awesome. Dinning in has usually been a good experience but it is popular so wait times vary. Prices are high everywhere these days but I feel like you get a great value here.”

I called the restaurant but an answering service answers for them. They said I have 2 options. Submit a claim through Yelp or drive back to restaurant. I didn't want to drive all the way back over there if they weren't preparing my order. It was a bit of a hassle But they gave me a whole new order and a soda when I got there and let me keep the old order. Check your before you leave the restaurant!”

The sweet potato fries with whatever you decided to sprinkle on them were delicious. The tots, wings and tenders were pretty good too.Today I visited one for the first time in a while. To my surprise and shock, they no longer have sweet potato as an option which I felt was the star of this whole food experience.I hope this is temporary and something that's up with this particular location. Had they had the sweet potato as an option for fries this place would definitely be a 5 star for me.”

Parking lot is huge as they are located in a large mall. Jasmine Milk Tea at 75% was much too sweet for me, I'll definitely order 50% next time. Honey boba was delicious! At first it was a lil mushy, but once the drink sat in ice for a while, the Honey Boba firmed up and developed that amazingly bouncy texture that Taiwanese drinks are known for. Music is appropriately not too noticeable, great background music to work with. They have lots of outlets along the wall, 5-6 large tables, and one super long community table. I will totally be coming back again!”

“This place is a good alternative to fast food places where most thing are fried. Service is friendly and can slow down during peak hours. Even then the wait is reasonable. It's in a little shopping strip with parking there or on the street, and is pretty easy to get to.”
