But, it can be a little pricey, and the service is pretty slow. I feel that the restaurant, as well as Brandon’s and the bar (where you can also order your sushi), is all understaffed. When we arrived at the bar at 3:30 there was one lady working behind the bar, and she was also running to the restaurant (Brandon’s) to wait on people! So it’s difficult to give people much attention when you’re stretched so thin.We came back after 7 to have dinner. They don’t open until 5pm.I ordered the shrimp “handy”. It’s tempura shrimp wrapped in white rice paper, with rice and avocado. It was delicious!!! I was going to share with my hubby but it was so good! Sorry honey!My husband had the miso soup. It had A LOT of green onions in it. I like that, but he didn’t.Then we shared the sashimi platter. It’s 20 pieces of sashimi with a roll (wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber). It was the perfect amount for 2 people to share. We were both full afterwards. Every piece was perfect. It had 4 pieces of tuna, 4 of salmon, yellowtail, and wahoo.I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my husband had a Moscow mule. They were both excellent. Then we had the salted caramel gelato for dessert.A 20% gratuity is automatically included. Our bill was $180 altogether.“

“Having experienced the best sushi in the world through my travels, I would put this in the top 10.
However, they need to work on their portion control. 1- You can choose 12 or 17 presentations. All presentations are the same and prepared the same. —unfortunately… Last night’s experience there were three sushi chefs… The group on our right ordered the 12 -as did myself and my girlfriend. The portions were 33 to 40% bigger on the right with the sushi chef closest to them. Every single piece that came out to us was noticeably smaller, even though we had the same exact 12 piece choice. I did not go home hungry, but there was a noticeable difference so we’re not sure whether the sushi chef on our left made them smaller, or the right size… or the chef on the right was making them too big. The bottom line is it doesn’t look fair when they’re serving— especially at that price. Paying a premium for sushi such as this, you would assume the portions would be the same. That was my only disappointment.“

“Their kiwi boba tea with the blueberry and rainbow jelly is delicious. Their small size boba tea is quite large. The teriyaki salmon has an excellent portion of fish and veggies, and they have soy paper for those who don’t eat seaweed on ones small rolls. As for sushi I recommend asking for Escolar small rolls, they aren’t on the menu but they will custom make them. They’re very buttery smooth fishies.“

“Great all around. Only issue is every time I go there I ask for Sapporo or kirin on draft, which is on the menu and get the I’m sorry I were out today. It’s been months! Even the larger 16 oz cans. Same song and dance. Yes the food is good, but come on, I want the draught beer not the can bottled.“

“I was there two weeks ago. The food was fine but not what I expected from all the reviews I read. I wondered how many were paid for with discounted foods if they were written. I was appalled by the behavior of the owner towards his employees. Cussing and yelling at his staff, treating them with no respect. I was embarrassed by his unprofessional behavior and wondered how he keeps his staff. After talking to a customer who was sitting near me they told me the longest staff member was only there 4 weeks. “Apparently this is a private yacht club. It is highly recommended to make a reservation. The restaurant is gate operated but we were allowed in on a "slow" night. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and teriyaki vegetables. The Mac and cheese was very tasty and a large enough portion to make the price a value. The teriyaki vegetables tasted fine but didn't go with the Mac and cheese. The service could be a little better. It took a minute to get refills. One member of our party had to ask three people to place her order.“

“As an Asian who traveled to Japan several times and lived in CA for almost 30 years, I have been spoiled with great Japanese food. We moved to Florida last year and joked that the state food for Florida was mediocre sushi, not until we discovered Ebisu. We love the wide variety of authentic Japanese dishes. I also love its sushi rice, which compliment the beautiful fish. Wish it were closer to where we live!

Parking: Ample parking space in the shopping center

Kid-friendliness: The ambience here is very casual and comfortable. Great for family get together with kids.“

“Food is very good. I had tuna sashimi, chicken stir fry, shrimp tempura , avacado roll, miso soup and edamame. Everything was very good. Hardiest miso soup I ever had. I recommend this place. I has take out but the restaurant looked very clean. Rep was very nice also!“

“Food is the delicious, and they have the best Açaí Bowls!! I’ve never had better Açaí then the one they have. It’s smooth, creamy, is never icey and the fruit is fresh. Their sushi is also very, very good! Overall highly recommend this restaurant, which is pretty underrated in my opinion.“
