The teriyaki salmon has an excellent portion of fish and veggies, and they have soy paper for those who don’t eat seaweed on ones small rolls. As for sushi I recommend asking for Escolar small rolls, they aren’t on the menu but they will custom make them. They’re very buttery smooth fishies.“

But, it can be a little pricey, and the service is pretty slow. I feel that the restaurant, as well as Brandon’s and the bar (where you can also order your sushi), is all understaffed. When we arrived at the bar at 3:30 there was one lady working behind the bar, and she was also running to the restaurant (Brandon’s) to wait on people! So it’s difficult to give people much attention when you’re stretched so thin.We came back after 7 to have dinner. They don’t open until 5pm.I ordered the shrimp “handy”. It’s tempura shrimp wrapped in white rice paper, with rice and avocado. It was delicious!!! I was going to share with my hubby but it was so good! Sorry honey!My husband had the miso soup. It had A LOT of green onions in it. I like that, but he didn’t.Then we shared the sashimi platter. It’s 20 pieces of sashimi with a roll (wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber). It was the perfect amount for 2 people to share. We were both full afterwards. Every piece was perfect. It had 4 pieces of tuna, 4 of salmon, yellowtail, and wahoo.I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my husband had a Moscow mule. They were both excellent. Then we had the salted caramel gelato for dessert.A 20% gratuity is automatically included. Our bill was $180 altogether.“

She listened to every word I said, knowing that I gotta go to Miami tomorrow cause Portugal we’re playing in Miami and we’re gonna whip Columbia, but nevertheless there young man here who is a waiter? Also, he looks like he played on the faster and the furious Tokyo drift. Lololoolooo nevertheless the service was incredible. The food was amazing. The spices that took on the point of the flavors absolutely incredible. This reminds me of a restaurant I’ve visited up in the tri-state New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area called Jade was another Japanese restaurant. the only difference between that place and this place is every Friday and Saturday night they had karaoke and I used to have a blast there with the owners we all saying and have a song and do this that just have a great eat, but this restaurant please if you’re ever around here stop by have yourself a bite to eat they’ll treat you like family.“

“It’s a family ran business. Everybody is so nice and helpful. We always go there on a Friday night with 10 people unannounced. And they always make room for us somewhere. They’re just very nice. “Very nice lunch. The lady always takes care of us when we visit, and always makes us feel welcomed. The lunch specials that they offer is definitely the best bang for your buck. The soup is probably one of the best soups that I have had, and it paired nicely with the pork shumai that we shared. My wife got the Pad Thai with chicken, which was flavorful, and the peanut sauce complemented well with her dish. For myself, I ordered the Pad Bamee which was a very tasty dish with a delicious sauce and fresh vegetables. The rice we also shared was a good touch. Overall, even though its one lady working at lunch, she does make sure everyone is taken care of. This is one of the best asian places in town and I would highly recommend!“

They have excellent rolls all curated and designed by the chef with the freshest fish 🐟 that are mostly locally sourced. Originally chef Simon then Lucy are meticulous in their choices and have always been consistent with their quality and flavors as well as their hospitality. “I booked for a party of 24 and it wasn’t until i arrived that i learned that the tables only seat 20 and the other guests have to sit somewhere else. The food was great and so was the entertainment but our table only got 1 menu…for 20 people. My parents sat in a different table (because of the lack of space) and they didn’t even get a menu, but the guests that arrived AFTER them did, do with information what you will. I also don’t know if they just don’t own spoons but i asked for one and got a plastic spoon. Besides those inconveniences, the hibachi chefs were awesome and so was the food.“

“Have gone here over the years and always had really great quality food. It was quiet after 8pm on a Saturday, please come check it out! For hibachi there’s different chefs with different personalities so you may have high energy or a quiet one and always delicious food.“
