“Solid 4.5 stars!! FYI they don’t open til 5 pm even though menu says 4 pm. Our first time, the restaurant is beautiful, loved the cat decor, food did not disappoint…presentation, freshness and flavors were on point! We sat at the bar for happy hour, great service…Ivan was wonderful at explaining the dishes, and made some great recommendations.
Kimchi Caesar with pork belly was delicious. The bluefin don was good, but probably our least favorite. Waygu garlic ramen was flavorful and we both enjoyed. JB roll was perfect. But the Trio Toro and hamachi Serrano…outstanding 10/10. Check out the cute apparel and accessories for sale too.…Ivan was wonderful at explaining the dishes, and made some great recommendations.

“This place is unexpectedly fabulous. We tried it out because they had good reviews and it’s not too far from my house. Shiitake has quickly become our go-to spot for sushi. It’s unpretentious and the food is amazing.“

“Outstanding experience! The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The Thai dishes were full of authentic flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a wonderful atmosphere. If you're looking for amazing sushi and flavorful Thai cuisine, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I can't wait to come back!“

“Very fresh excellent options. The last mgr, attitude remains be desired. Horace the rest of the staff can let me get past her rudeness. the & older lady hosts AWESOME! The man, not SURE owner or mgr HE went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND. I had ordered small appetizers was planning pick up on way home. However, I got stuck on side exit ramp getting off I-95. the lady mgr called HUNG UP ON ME.!!! after . next few minutes later the man called and was trying figure where I was. He wanted to come deliver my food to me. he said "I AM VERY SURE YOU'RE HUNGRY" (I WAS) ps instead come all way 95 asked him drop my house. HE DID to pix and gave to roommate (thought was asleep) he didn't care about the tip.. just wanted make sure I had something to eat. knowing I was writing since 7 am and was almost 11 pm. THAT IS IMPECCABLE SERVICE WITH SWEET KINDNESS ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! recommend 1000%“

“My favorite meal at Yama is....well, there are so many. Like Yakitori, Nigiri Tasting, Tuna Tartare, Special Yama roll, 2nd on 2nd roll, Chirashi, Spicy Pork Bulgogi then wash it down with a Lychee Martini. 🙌😋🙂“

“Waterfront lunch. Valet Parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lunch menu selection was varied. We ordered Korean BBQ wings small plate appetizer. Surprisingly excellent. Not breaded. Hubby had Caesar salad and loved the anchovies. I had SW salad and it was tasty. Brought home half. We also loved the included house brewed iced tea. Great lunch
I also noticed there was a large group eating as well. Servers were able to easily accommodate all the groups.“

“Shocked by quality of this restaurant in the west of Delray! Really Great Cuisine! The hot and sour soup was the best ive ever had, and ive tried many! The peanut sauce is amazing, order a side of it for any dish, you won’t be let down! The sushi is devine!“

“Everyone made my birthday a wonderful experience and very accommodating. Very flexible in moving seating time when we were stuck in traffic and realized we would not make our original reservation time. Patrick was a great Chef and the rest of our staff made our experience memorable. A5 Wagyu and the Toro were hits.“
