“I didn't know we even had this this in Altamonte Springs. It will definitely be considered one of my regular locations. I got to try their lunch combo with pad see ew. It was tantalizing to look at once it was placed in front of me. I ended up eating right away with the added chili powder they offered. It was delicious with chicken. The soup, salad, and spring roll were perfectly made. They all had the perfect flavor, and that soup was a surprise. The service was awesome and friendly. Our server explained some of the dishes to me in detail. The inside was nice and relaxing. The decor was really homey and perfect to create a relaxed feel. It gets busy around lunchtime, so definitely plan accordingly. See you guys again.“

“Originally found this place with there food truck, the Thai fried chicken rice is the best rice I've ever had!! (And that's coming from a Spanish person lol) I drove 45 minutes to there new establishment to get the rice, it's well worth it!! I was also blown away by how great the customer service was they kept making sure everything was up to my liking . Highly recommend ? I'll keep making the trip up here for there food“

“I have finally found a local restaurant that serves Hainanese chicken rice the way I remember as a child visiting my late grandparents in Lampang, Northern Thailand. “Made it to Pop Thai Restaurant for my friend's birthday. The only miss for me was the Golden Tofu. It had no taste at all. The sauce didn't help and we tried other sauces to no avail so we ditched that. It was just fried plain tofu. I had the crispy duck and it was delicious including the Panang curry sauce and a hefty portion. I'd say that I personally prefer regular duck more rare and not fried. It was a bit too well done and charred for my taste but if you like it that way, it was well executed. Don't miss the shrimp app! And, the 'birthday' donuts as a dessert with the sweet dip were incredible. They do any spice level which is fantastic. The servers were super nice but REALLY bad about clearing dishes even when they were stacked 5 high. I ended up having to take them away myself so we could have room to eat. We would go again. Also, the location is fantastic (not the parking) with several places to get post drinks before or after. We hit Pour Choice and Sunroom afterwards.“

“The service was great, and the restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming. However, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. I was looking forward to enjoying a traditional Vietnamese garlic noodle bowl, but what I received was closer to spaghetti noodles in garlic sauce. While the tofu served alongside was flavorful, the noodles themselves were dry and tough, an unfortunate mismatch for the delicate balance of Asian flavors. This surprising choice of noodle was a letdown. It left me wondering, why choose spaghetti noodles for an Asian-inspired dish?“

“My daughter has gone here a million times with her mom and grandparents, but I have never been here. Let me tell you that looks are deceiving. Outside is a normal facade in an older plaza... BUT once you step inside.... you are transported to this modern and chic environment ... very nice and inviting. The service is excellent. You are greeted by a friendly representative ready to take you on your food adventure. The menu is very easy to understand and broken down in sections. You choose your dish and your protein. Let me tell you about the appetizers. I absolutely love summer rolls. Any Thai place I go to I ask for them and I judge them by their peanut sauce. The peanut sauce here is warm and delicious. I could not stop dipping my rolls into the sauce and thought about asking for more. DELICIOUS! I also ventured to try the tulip dumplings. The dumplings are not for everyone because of the type of sauce that is used, but I would recommend ordering this with friends so that everyone can try them since everyone's pallet is different. Now onto the main plates. My daughter orders the Phad Woon Sen which is glass noodles in a savory sweet sauce, often accompanied with tomato egg, onions, and scallion. If there is something you don't want in it, you can tell them and they will prepare it how you wish. Now, I absolutely love Phad Thai. I always order it at a Thai restaurant and judge them by this as well. This Phad Thai was one of the best I have ever had. Not too sweet, but just right. I ordered it with chicken, but you could choose any protein you want. And you can always tell them what spice level you want. Mine was not spicy, but I do love spice so I asked them for some of the sauces and they brought me three little jars. One had peanuts one had a powdery spice and the other was a sauce. Two of them, of course were hot and spicy and I loved it and put it on my Phad Thai. I fell in love with those little spice jars so much I gave them names, Winken Blinken and Nod... LOL!!!!! ...oh and I did want more peanut sauce, so my daughter told them to give me more but the one that was on the spicy side and it was awesome. Obviously, if you're not into spice, you don't have to get things that are spicy but if you are into spice, you have to try, what they have here. I am definitely coming back with or without my daughter..... LOL!!!!“

“Love this place. The food is spot on 90% of the time. Every once in a while there is an off day, but for the most part, everything is delicious. We usually get the Drunken Noodles or Pad Thai. The Pineapple shrimp dish is either amazing or disappointing (there is no in between). Don't get spicy (or even a little spicy) unless you can handle your heat. The owners of the restaurant are the sweetest people. We bring friends here often and everyone usually leaves happy.“

Every time I drive by here, the parking lot just seems so empty, so I didn't think twice about going to eat there when deciding where to go out to eat. Finally swung by, and the place was packed! Well, I might as well try it. I was not disappointed! I got the Brown Curry w/chicken. It had a really good flavor. Actually, it would be the perfect dish to get started eating Curry. The atmosphere was surprisingly large and very authentic looking. I took me several visits to realize there was a hot food and snack menu on the back because I was always so focused on the delicious cold and hot teas. “Soong Thai is an insanely good restaurant that you NEED to visit ASAP - we have been to a ton of different Thai restaurants all over the place and even lived in Thailand for 2 1/2 months in 2022, and Soong Thai is one of the only restaurants we’ve been to in America that has food as good as the best we ate in Thailand. The vast majority of Thai restaurants here are NOT EVEN CLOSE to as good as food in Thailand, but here actually does a fantastic job. Highly authentic, very unique dishes on the menu you won’t find anywhere else, and unbeatable prices with big portion sizes! We’ve gotten their Panang and Massaman curries before and they are top-notch; some of the best we’ve ever had, and the Green Curry Grilled Grouper & Seafood special dish is to die for - you should try one of these types of curries (doesn’t have to have seafood, you can do chicken or beef as an option which is still fantastic) on your first visit and you will be immediately hooked. For this level of quality and price, you won’t find any other Thai restaurant this good in all of Greater Orlando. This is now a staple for us and we will be coming back many more times!!“

“I have eaten here several times and food is ALWAYS good. But today I had the pineapple fried rice and OMG!! Over the top delicious. And so much food, I was stuffed, and came home with enough food for AT LEAST one more meal. Also be sure to try the jasmine green tea. I am a green tea lover, but this is the very best. “I came here for the first time with some coworkers for a work lunch. We arrived before the downtown lunch rush so there were plenty of tables available. The service was quick and the two people serving are group were very nice. A bunch of us ordered the Pad Se-Ew with chicken and it was the first to come out. We asked for the spice tray as well and I added what looked like gochujang sauce which gave it the right kick to my liking. I like to order my Thai mild and add the heat on my own. Pad Se-Ew is different everywhere you go and this version was a little on the sweeter side. Other people ordered the house fried rice and pad Thai. Everyone was happy with their meals and we hardly had any leftovers.“
