“I go to North Shore every time I’m down. I usually get the Iced Salted Caramel Latte every day. This week it was cool a few days and got to enjoy hot coffee and it didn’t disappoint.“

“Arriving at 3:50 on a Friday, I fully expected to be told “we’re closed”. Instead, we were welcomed and assisted with a last-minute charcuterie board.
The price was very fair for the quality of food and commendable service.
Thank you for helping save our sunset cruise.“

“My boyfriend and I went in for breakfast. Everything we had was delicious. I have to say, the belgium waffle with the fresh fruit was the best I've had. The french toast was so good too. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Definitely would recommend. We will be going back.“

“Absolutely one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. This small, family-owned restaurant won my heart within seconds of walking through the door. My friends and I were visiting from out of town and happened to stumble upon this place while looking for somewhere to eat. We didn’t even realize until after being seated that we had arrived only about 30 minutes before closing. Not once did they make us feel rushed or like an inconvenience — quite the opposite. Pane e Amore is a truly authentic, family-owned Italian restaurant. The menu is simple yet unique, and every single thing we tried — from drinks to dessert — was incredible. We enjoyed the red blend wine, beer, and the pasta of the day: an Italian sausage spaghetti in a white sauce, made completely from scratch, right down to the noodles. It tasted like real Italian food and genuinely made us feel as though we were sitting in the heart of Italy. While our entrées were being prepared, we were served bruschetta that was crisp, light, and perfectly cooked — not overly hard like it often is elsewhere. We finished with a dessert that was equally light and delicious. The service was unmatched. Every interaction was genuine, heartfelt, and full of care. We were treated like family, and in the short time we were there, it felt like visiting relatives in Italy for the holidays. Five stars simply isn’t enough — this place deserves a ten. We will for sure be back.“

“I have some food restrictions (dairy and gluten) and was so happy to see that Cheesecake Cutie had options for me! Their chicken salad is incredible on their gluten free bread, which is so soft and so good! They have vegan cheesecake, and it’s so yummy! Really good service and locally owned which we loved! Definitely a go-to spot for me when I’m on AMI!“

“We stumbled upon Agrigento by Style Pizzeria Café just a few months ago after relocating back to Manatee County from a brief season in Nevada—and let me tell you, this little gem has become our new happy place! As a single mom raising three growing boys, finding a spot that satisfies everyone is no small feat. But Agrigento delivers—literally and figuratively. The pizza is next-level, with that perfect blend of crispy crust and gooey cheese that tastes like it was hand-crafted in a Sicilian kitchen. And don’t even get me started on the garlic knots… These are not your average knots. These are oversized pillows of buttery, garlicky heaven—I swear they were kneaded by angels. The house salad with that signature Italian dressing? A masterpiece. And speaking of masterpieces, let’s raise a glass of their smooth and sultry Montepulciano—a rare treat to find as a house wine in a casual café! Add in some authentic cannolis or a slice of limoncello cake, and you’ve got yourself the perfect ending to any meal. My personal favorite? The eggplant Parmesan garlic knot slider—the kind of creation that deserves its own Food Network spotlight. They even have a daily $10 lunch special with two slices and a drink, which is an absolute steal. And while you eat, you’re serenaded by music videos from the 80s and 90s—pure joy for this Gen Z momma with an old soul! Tucked away in a humble strip plaza on Manatee Avenue near our pediatrician’s office, this place is so good I might start hoping the kids catch a mild cold just so I don’t forget to stop by again. Agrigento, you’ve won our hearts (and stomachs). See you again soon—and often!“

“Someone needs to give the manager and his staff a raise. They are some of the most kind, attentive food service workers I have encountered in quite some time. You don't even have to love Panera's food to enjoy your time at this location.“
